The longer they stay, the more oak flavor they will impart. Eventually they will have no more to give. It also depends on the volume. **Q: Can these spirals be left in wine for longer than 6 weeks without doing harm?** A: no harm, just no more flavor extracted after 6 weeks **Q: Can you re-use them?** A: Thank you for your inquiry. Once you use the spiral the first time it extracts the flavor from the spiral. If used a second time there would not be much oak left in the spiral. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ok *by J***Z on 5 January 2023* ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great flavor addition *by L***N on 10 April 2026* ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quick way to add depth to your fermented creations *by B***D on 3 November 2015* ## Frequently Bought Together - American Oak Infusion Spirals Medium Toast - Oak Spirals for Aging Whiskey, Wine, Brandy, or Spirits in The Bottle - Oak Bottle Spiral by Midwest Homebrewing and Winemaking Supplies - 8" Long, 2-pc - French Oak Spirals Medium Plus Toast - Oak Spirals for Aging Whiskey, Wine, Brandy, or Spirits in the Bottle by The Barrel Mill - 8" Long, 2-pc - American Oak Infusion Spirals Medium Plus Toast - Oak Spirals for Aging Whiskey, Wine, Brandy, or Spirits in the Bottle by Midwest Homebrewing and Winemaking Supplies - 8" Long, 2-pc --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/51817175-midwest-home-brewing-and-winemaking-supplies-american-oak-infusion-spirals](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/51817175-midwest-home-brewing-and-winemaking-supplies-american-oak-infusion-spirals) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-11*
