My nephew is 15 but I sized down after reading reviews, which im glad I did because they fit him lovely,plenty of length so they gather slightly on the ankles above the shoe,(as shown in the picture) They have elasticated waste which he says is so nice and easy to get on and off. For Ref my nephew is approx 5"2 and of slim build.. He likes them so much he wants more in different colours.
