**Q: Has anyone experienced rats escaping from this cage? Is this suitable for female rats which tend to be smaller? Would baby females escape?**
A: I have 4 male rats, one adult full sized rat and 3 babies. The babies were in the cage from the age of 8 weeks and could not fit through the bars. They are now 12 weeks and not one escape! Not sure if baby males and females are significantly different sizes.

**Q: Is this the best cage for a feret to live ?**
A: The size is amazing, but cleaning out is a very no no it’s just so hard to clean the back of the cage I’m petite and I can just get one shoulder inside to try and reach the back these no way of my partner doing this, if it had more doors like at the back it would be amazing cage but the way it is I wish I never brought it and looked at others first..

**Q: Would this be suitable for 4 male degus who love chewing anything**
A: The bars may be too widley spaced for degus. Id go for a very full metal rat cage or an aviary type cage with very small bar spacing

**Q: How deep is the Base? I want a do a self cleaning cage for my rats and need a fairly deep Base**
A: It’s about 7-8’ Deep
