Q: I have a 2007 lexus rx 400h. i currently have a 1200w sub amp with 12"subs and a 4 channel amp for my mids. can this capacitor absorb my current setu?

Yes that should work fine, however you might consider getting a bigger alternator. As you're pulling a lot of power and it's worth the money to have a larger alternator. 600 plus would work. Good luck

It's possible. Make sure the amp isn't getting too hot. Protect mode would mean something is wrong and the amp is shutting down so it does not blow up. What gage wire do you use? You should be using at minimum 4 gage. Also upgrade your ground from battery to chassis. Alternator to battery.

Q: 4 gauge wire is enough to power this up?

If you're already spending money in the car audio might as well go big with the wire go to the biggest you can get the 0 gauge and you'll never have a problem stop playing around with 4 and 8 gauge wire
