Can this be used with wireless/bluetooth headphones e.g. airpods for home practice?

Hi, HeadRush support here! MX5 is not directly suitable for operation with wireless headphones and does not feature any inbuilt Bluetooth capabilities. With this in mind, radiofrequency headphones which feature their own transmitter and 6.35mm TRS receiver will be suitable.

What is the reason why I cannot use a 12 volt battery to make it portable?

Hi, HeadRush support here! MX5 does not feature any inbuilt battery compartments to facilitate for a 12-volt battery. If you would like to use this product on the go, we recommend using a portable power station.
