Camera being used in a church ZOOM service for live broadcast and recording.
I bought this after seeing one that was picked out by the ZOOM person at our church using one. I edit the saved copy of the services for posting on Facebook and Youtube. The quality of the video and sound is quite good. We only use one of these for the ZOOM live during the service and then saving and downloading the recorded service. The ability to zoom in and out to move between a person speaking and musicians thirty or forty feet away is a great capability. The sound remains consistent and only needs minor adjustment when editing the videos. This replaced a $400 camera previously used that failed after a year of use and required a cell phone connection to operate. This camera is a good replacement.

Depstech DW50, I'd recommend it.
I recommend this camera. I purchased the DPW 50 because I needed a versatile camera for virtual meetings. The camera checks all the boxes; High quality resolution (4K), versatile, zoom (3X), it works well in low light areas, dual mics w/noise canceling, privacy cover, and adjustments/zoom are accessible via a remote control. Accessories include a mini-tripod, charging cables, USB adapters, a storage/travel bag, and a manual. It’s a great deal at a reasonable price.Depstech’s customer service is outstanding. The remote control for the camera stopped working. The Depstech team walked me through troubleshooting the issue and decided to replace the unit, even though it was outside of the warranty period.

Good sound quality with the microphone
I wanted a camera where the microphone was good enough to use. After a few tries I came upon this. All colleagues report good sound quality when on Teams meetings.Video is good with the zoom feature via the remote being an added bonus. All in all I am very pleased with the camera.

Great image, easy setup, lots of image adjustments, useful remote control!
Worked great right out of the box. Easy to clip to the top of my laptop screen and or use the mini tripod to stand it on my desk. Both ways of mounting offer tilt and swivel. Zoom recognized it right away. Great auto focus and sharp, colorful image. Love the remote control! Batteries are not included but the remote worked without having to download any drivers or other software. It adjusts the zoom level from wide angle to normal, to close up, to extreme close up, back to wide angle, every time you press the magnifying glass icon. So when my wife sits next to me on a Zoom session I can easily include her in the video image. Also it could be useful to show my doctor that spot that might be skin cancer using the extreme closeup! I plan to use the zoom option during events to switch from viewing a group of people to zooming in on the group leader. I also like the color saturation option. I can really bring out the blue of my shirt and my face doesn't look so pale. Remote has several additional buttons including turning the camera and also the microphone off and on. Has a privacy shield that physically covers the lens. Plugs into a full sized USB socket for power, video and audio signals. Comes with an adapter to plug into USB C socket. I only wish that the zoom was continuous rather than just four settings. I was hoping for a slow zoom movie effect. But that is too much to expect at this bargain price! I'm very pleased with this webcam and I might buy a second one. 5 stars. Highly recommended.

Great for the beginner
For the price I was very surprised at how clear the video is. And the zoom feature is nice too whether you're using it for zoom calls or YouTube or chaterbate its perfect for the beginner. For the price with its tripod and remote that comes with.

High Hopes
I did extensive research and chose this camera based on the reviews and the claims the manufacturer made. Well....It's nothing special. It's another in a long line of new tech that only disappoints when you get it.First: the remote is a joke and just a gimmick to get your interest. The zoom doesn't even work in OBS, not from the remote anyway. All these supposed features that are accessible from the remote are in the wrong placement. I.E. what's supposed to be 2 buttons for contrast adjustment are changing the saturation not the contrast. That would be ok if the saturation controls changed the contrast but they don't do anything at all. So that's a feature lost. The auto focus is constantly adjusting even if you're dead still it focuses again and again. Another feature lost. The other settings on the remote kinda work the way they should but only in a small section of the parameter allowed for that setting. Speaking of settings; The other settings that you would like to control (like exposure) are maxed out so much that there isn't a usable level available when you try to adjust manually. Turn the auto button off and the picture goes black, try to adjust the exposure and you have to max it out to see ANYTHING, and certainly not an acceptable picture. Another feature lost.Maybe I don't understand what the 4K and UHD mean but this camera certainly is neither. It even states in the online extended manual that the max resolution is 1080. That's not 4k or UHD. I'm pretty sure I got the right camera in the box because the case is right, at least looks like the ad I purchased from.Sorry for such a wordy review. There is more to talk about but I've already invested too much time in research and a pretty penny spent on the camera itself only to be left wishing my old camera was working.Buyer beware, research won't help this one.Update 5-23-2023I was contacted by the manufacturer and given a refund. I added a star to my review but it's only to reflect the fair business I was offered. The product needs better support in the form of software. But the company was good to me and fair.

Awesome Service and Product Support!
I bought this camera a while ago past the warranty. I contacted them because my remote wasn’t working properly, but they stepped right up and helped me out and sent me a new camera with the remote to make sure I was happy. They didn’t have to do it but they care enough to make sure that I was happy with their product. This is a great product to buy. It works fantastic and you should get one too. The company is very generous and understanding.
