Keeps your phone dry and safe, would thoroughly recommend.
SummaryA great piece of kit that will keep your phone dry in the heaviest of rain. The attachment bracket is secure and it’s easy to place/remove the case on the fly. Touch screen works fine through the case, though no fingerprint recognition.I’m about to give you a gift. It’s a very important gift…..Remember that phone case you just looked at before this? The unbranded one? The one with the delicate looking attachment clamp? The one with an oddly written description and CERTAIN words WRITTEN in BOLD as if they’re trying just a little TOO HARD to flog their shoddy stitched water-collector?Don’t buy them. Buy this one instead.There. I just gave you the gift of Time. Now you won’t have to go through the rigmarole of having to contact the seller and ask for a refund, wait for them to reply, get no reply, email Amazon, explain how the case is poop and finally get your money back. Let’s say 45min in total, that’s about how long it would take to get your money back. I just saved that you that time. You’re welcome. At the top of the case is wide opening to allow the phone in and out, with a push tab along the top to seal it. You then roll the top down 2 or three times to ensure the seal is water tight. The black outer layer of the case then folds over the top, fastened by a Velcro tab.I also go rowing and have used this case to protect my phone in the boat. On a couple of occasions it’s been sat in shallow standing water without my realising and has been bone dry.The clear frontage of the case is touch sensitive and I’ve had no trouble using the phone through the case, without having to take it out. Fingerprint recognition doesn’t work through the case, so you have to press the on switch and then the unlock code, but this is stated on the phone packaging. The screen is easy to see but in sunny weather there is a little glare, so you may have to knock the brightness up a notch or two.At the back of the case is the clip to attach to the bike mount. I’ve found it really easy to take on and off, easier than my bike lights. There is a small clear window at the top which may make it possible to take photos if your phone has its camera there. A nice touch but not really useful, as the photo would be shooting through a layer of wavy plastic, so not the best shots. The bike mount is black plastic, but certainly feels sturdy. The O-ring has gone around my bikes handlebar stem with oodles of adjustment to spare, and fastens tightly with a 4mm allen key which you find on most bike tools. The square connector means you can attach the case either vertical or horizontal without having to make any adjustments.I bought this case to protect a Moto G6. The fit isn’t perfect, but then it’s a generic case so I wouldn’t expect it to. There’s a little spare space inside but even so the phone is held securely in place and the speedo is easy to read when glancing at it. I’ve only used on the road and, while there is a slight movement I’m happy that the phone isn’t going to get damaged or even shake itself off the bracket. On trails I would guess that it would still be held securely, but the wobble may make it tricky to read.ProsKeeps your phone dryKeeps your phone securely attached to the bikeThat’s all there is to it really. Having bought 2 other “budget” options before this one I wish I’d just gone straight for this is the first place. These aren’t really cons, but rather things to note:No fingerprint recognitionPossibly a little roomy, depending on your phone size.I would have liked an attachment point for a bit of cord, both for extra security from dropping and just because I like things with cord attached. It’s not going to win you any style awards. If you found my review useful then It'd be great if you let me know with a like :)

Topeak say no more
Use a fair bit of their equipment and this phone case is brilliant and does the job of absolutely protecting my phone while still being able use the phone and navigation system easily. Would recommend definitely.

It's fantastic, just get the right size
This is a great product, if you cycle a lot and use Strava, Google maps or similar then I highly recommend the product, I've owned three of these for my last three phones and it feels like a must have item for me now, cycling without it feels odd.Number one: it's waterproof, other phone mounts have your phone attached directly to the bike, which puts it at risk in unfavorable weather. This phone case from topeak could be dropped in a lake and your phone would be safe.Number two: it's secure, I've come off my bike a few times with my phone on the handlebars, only once has it actually come off of the mount (in quite a nasty accident) but the case itself protected my phone from the road, there wasn't a scratch on it and I put that entirely down to the case. Again if I had been using a direct phone-to-bike mounting system, I think my phone would have been destroyed.Number three: phone is still fully useable within the case. I don't know what magic is going on with the plastic they use for these but the touchscreen capabilities of my phone are completely unaffected by being in the case, I've also got an extra tempered glass cover on my screen and there's no issues. The only downside with this particular model is that it's MASSIVE! I'm pretty sure it's designed to be the one case that should fit any phone and my phone does indeed fit inside it, but it's not a good fit.Why is this important? A snug fit would mean that I could still access the mechanical buttons on the side of my phone through the bike case. I need to press my power key to unlock my phone and it's not particularly easy with my phone loose inside the case. The size smaller than this would likely be too small for my phone so I wish there was a product that sat in the middle. My phone is a xiaomi A1, the screen is 5.5" across and I have a fairly decent case on it which I don't take off to put in the topeak ride case.I'm going to attempt padding out the ride case, to push my phone over to the right, (this should give me better access to the buttons on the side of my phone). I'm also considering a larger everyday phone case so that it takes up more space in the ride case as a snug fit makes a lot of different.I would recommend this product to all cyclists, just double check that you're getting the right size.Tip: If possible go to a cycle shop (Halfords in the UK) and test your phone in the case before hand, then come to Amazon and buy it cheaper.

Use it all the time
Really great product, it keeps phone waterproof in the rain and slides on and off the stand easily. Super helpful when navigating around on your bike!

Perfect for the job
Needed a holder for my iPhone XR that would allow me to fit the phone without taking it out of its case and this does the job nicely. The touchscreen still works and even though it’s a roll up water tight case you can still hear sound ie music from it. The case can also detach from the mount easily meaning I can leave my phone inside the case and take it with me. The mount is toughened plastic and fits to the bike with an Allen key. Once fitted it feels rock solid.

Very good!
Very good case! 100% waterproof! It's a little bit big for my iPhone X but the smaller size would have been too small so it's OK I put some paper behind my phone and it's not moving

super fonctionnel

Consigliata!
