Heโs barely paid attention to the troubles between America and England. Instead, heโs been worked to the bone by his cruel uncle. But when his uncle's rage forces him to flee home suddenly, Nate finds himself in New York City, in the middle of the American Revolution. He encounters an old friend and joins his army regiment as a camp helper. Soon the British invade -- and nothing goes as planned. Can Nate survive the warโs biggest battle yet? Great for reluctant readers
My 10 year old son views reading as a chore, so I'm constantly searching for books he would actually enjoy. I bought several graphic novels from this series, and he was genuinely interested and read through them quickly. I will be buying the rest of the titles. The binding, illustrations, and text are all great quality, and I especially like that he's learning history in such an engaging format.
