It’s basic but after trying it on myself it appears to work

Might do the job
First thing that strikes you is the instructions are the worst translation ever. If you are trained and know what to do its ok but if trying to use this device by following them, forget it. The item is not CE marked or UKCA marked so has not been tested by any approved body. I've bought it for training purposes for which it will be adequate.In a quick test, the windlass didn't snap and the velcro held fine. SO, if you want a cheap tourniquet for personal use, its adequate. For professional use or when providing a service, then no.

Works well
This works well, I find it rally easy to break out, and quite fast to put on, and it easily fits from my thigh. To my arm.The “Hook and Loop” holds very well and then it is very easy to twist on to apply the “Tourniquet” effect.The “Rod” portion feels strong, and it provides a good lever for twisting.All in all I will be including this into my outdoors first aid kit.

Not CE or UKCA rated
Avoid if you don't know how to apply a tourniquet properly as the instructions are lousy and it's not CE or UKCA tested.Hopefully I'll never have to use this for real, but building up my first aid kits (home and car) and for now will do.
