small detail about installing control knobs
I used a 1.6mm drill bit in a pin vise to ream out the control knobs to fit on the controller. Then they were a easy push fit onto the control levers.Very fun little flyer in the house (do not try to fly outside) and takes very little time to get proficient. The cage to protect it from damage is pretty much useless without some kind of instructions.Binding seems to take a very long time. Pushing the throttle to max after turning on the transmitter seems to speed up the process but don't take it to minimum.

Where to begin? How about the control knobs
Actually I suppose I can begin by asking myself what I might have been expecting at this pricing point? The manufacturer lists this as a "mini" helicopter. "Mini" may be a bit of an exaggeration when it comes down to it ( some people may be thinking "that's what she said" here ) as this thing is pretty tiny. As an older individual who isn't all that great at converting metric to non-metric measures, the size for this, as shown in one of the pictures on the product page, is a bit tough to really picture. Lets say though that the body of this little copter could just about fit into a typical 12 ounce beverage can. It is a little longer than that, but not by all that much.Does the size impact the potential fun factor? That's where results are again a bit mixed. Mixed more so because getting the charging cable inserted into this tiny little copter is a bit of a challenge. Well, no, not really, but... well, when you insert the charging cable into the bottom of the copter, down near where there is a tiny little on-off switch to turn on the power for the copter you'll find that a fair portion of the charging connector sticks out and leaves you thinking that you must not have inserted the connector fully where you should. That isn't the case. It is "normal" for this connector to stick out and it won't insert fully into the slot where you must insert it. There is simply not enough room or depth there to accept the full length of the charging connector and thus a good portion sticks out. You should be able to tell it is charging up by seeing a red LED light up on the copter's bottom (near where the connector is inserted). If you charge by using the included USB cable it will normally charge up pretty quickly (relatively speaking). You could also make use of the controller to charge up the copter (draining the batteries in the controller a bit quicker but should still leave power to use the controller with). That is kind of a nice feature as it can get you a bit more playtime if you don't happen to have a USB charger readily available for some reason. The controller is simple enough to use but it is also where some of my frustration comes from here -- it arrives with the control knobs uninstalled. They are sticking on small posts under the clear plastic flap on the top of the controller. You open up that flap, pull these knobs off the posts that they are sticking to, and then you are supposed to push the knobs on top of the control post/levers that are on either side at the top of the controller (left or right side of the center of the controller as you look at the on-off switch for the controller). That is where the real irritation started for me. The knobs just don't want to push down and secure themselves onto the control posts. It seems they are designed to barely make any contact with the posts rather than sliding down nicely onto them. The tiny little posts are just too darned tiny to use without having some sort of knob on them, but getting the included knobs to work with those posts is going to be a challenge for most users. Careful, very careful, use of some kra'gl may be needed. Just be very careful with same and very patient as you don't want to drip any of that down the posts and essentially ruin the controller by gluing the control post in place.Instructions are pretty sparse. A single small paper that has U.S. English instructions on one side and manufacturer's country language on the other. A few things are left out of those instructions -- things such as a picture showing where to insert the charger connection with more detail. Things like where to see the on-off switch with more detail. Oh, it also doesn't include any instructions on how to install the guard that is included. That would be nice to know as you may wish to make use of the guard to help protect the copter until you are really use to how to control it.Controls, on my test flight, were fairly responsive after getting it to sync up with the copter. (It takes a minute for it to pair itself between the controller and the copter.) It did seem to want to just keep on elevating when I was making use of the one button launch option. Getting it back down and stopping it from just trying to climb forever wasn't that hard but took a little experimenting to learn how it would work.In the end I think this RC Helicopter is OK. It has room to improve and I would love to see it improve over time in later versions. Others might want to look around a bit more here at the A to Z store to find out what options exist and how favorable those may be.

Mini but mighty
This is a great little drone. It connects easily and the controls are straight forward, even for a beginner. Don't let its small size fool you. This drone is a lot of fun. Of course this is not good for outside use since it is so small and lightweight, but the drone is well balanced and flies pretty smoothly. Flight time is short but it charges quickly. Overall, a fun, well balanced beginner drone.

The Little Helicopter that Could!
Wow! So, this tiny helicopter is pretty fun to fly around. It isn't perfect, but it's pretty darn good. It's good enough that an amateur RC pilot could fly it around the house without too many close calls. We really enjoy this. It comes with everything you need to get flying quickly, including spare propellers. You can charge it via the case or with an included USB-style charging cable. When you are done, you store everything in a compartment on the remote control. I did have to add a little adhesive to the control stick ends on the remote to keep them in place. Otherwise, it is a great value for a pretty stable, easy-to-use, and inexpensive RC helicopter.

Very stable flight. Great office toy.
The media could not be loaded. Absolutely fun to fly! It took me a little bit to get used to how a helicopter fly's as compared to a micro quad drone. The helicopter makes delayed drifting turns vs a quad drone sharp jerky movements. Once I got that down this Helicopter was great in the air.The charger takes about 20 minutes to charge all the way up. It also does not go ALL the way into the copter when charging (see pic). The flight time is accurate at just under 8 minutes before the copter starts losing power. The remote holds 4 AA batteries (not included). The remote also has a charging cord built in so that you can charge the helicopter directly from the remote! The tiny size if the best part of this micro helicopter. It is so small that the remote IS the carry case. When I'm don flying I simply put the copter back into the remote and it's safe in my desk drawer for later. Everyone at the office thinks is cool when I fly it around. I know what I will handing out for Christmas this year. Overall, there is nothing not to like about this helicopter.

So tiny
Its so tiny but packs a punch for sure. Its too small to use outside as the wind will play havoc but its a nice drone for sure. The buttons are easy to use and it flies well. It does not fly for very long but it recharges pretty quick too. Charging is via USB. Good for beginners and for people who have used these before and want something small. Makes for a nice gift as well.
