Sawyer Products Insect Repellent with 20% Picaridin, Pump Spray

I always get bitten and have allergic reactions. I find Deet to pungent as an asthmatic. This however is a lotion , a bit smaller than I expected. AI recommended it for the area I was travelling to. The bottle lasted a 10 day holiday used every evening and more importantly not one bite . My husband used other brands and got several bites . Will use this next time .

I went to stay at my sister’s place in Sicily. Her house is in amongst olive groves and fruit trees so the mosquitoes are a real pain as they seem to love me! I have used 50% deet but as good as it is it can taint watch straps, shoes and can affect clothing. Yes this is expensive for the amount but I didn’t get bitten only the one night I forgot to use it. Would recommend especially as it doesn’t taint or smell awful

Absolutely love it, and my go to when we go camping. It doesn’t smell bad, doesn’t leave residue on skin, it’s just a lotion, but it definitely works

I was in an area with dreaded tics. This product works well and I don't know anything about picardin the active ingredient. But it made me think of captain Picard fending off the tics with next generation technology. Hopefully it's less dodgy on the human skin than old school permethrin products. I didn't sense any harm and had no tic klingons

Great alternative to Deet based products. Didn't stop mosquitoes biting me entirely but I had significantly less bites. Was surprised it worked so well

Be very careful how you use this , the only reason it works is the horrific chemicals in it .. it DOES tell you on the back not to use near eyes , mouth , only apply once in so many hours and dont injest any so don't use on kids or if you want a sarnie without washing your pinkies ..stopped me being bitten by horseflies though

This is brilliant, and my second order. I get absolutely covered with mosquito bites, have awful reactions to them, and have done for years. Went to Vietnam this year, got there early evening and, after 24hrs traveling forgot to use it, got bitten 5 times. I didn't forget again for the next 10 days and only 1 bite in all that time .Back in the UK, my husband who works outside and never gets bitten by anything, got loads of bites from horseflies one day, he went back to the same place next day with the cream on and not one bite. I cant reccomend it enough

It’s not smelly. That’s the reason I bought it. Three mosquito bites later, I applied my usual DEET. I suffer from horrible reactions to insect bites. Currently laying awake at 4.30 in the morning with itchy swollen arms and head to toe hives. Right now, I’m seriously regretting paying such a high price for a product that doesn’t work.Though, if you’re looking for a product that doesn’t smell, this is it. Just don’t expect it to do anything else.Very disappointed. Did not work for me.

For the price you pay bottle is very small, maybe less than 100mls. It was delivered half open and product all over the bottle. So not only do I have a small bottle, I have a half empty small bottle.

Very effective in warding off insects, including sand flies, more effectively than DEET
