Nice grips
Used to replace my original grips. A little difficult to put on but not overly. I broke one of the end caps. Love the pads for my palms, but when wet they are a little slippery. Like the vertical extensions as a secondary hand position. Seem to be a good quality. Going on my second year of them on my bike.

Comfortable grips
I’ve purchased several different bicycle handle grips over the last few months trying to get some thing that was comfortable for longer bike rides. These grips seem to be what I was looking for. They’re wide enough that they take the pressure off the center of the hand, and move it out to the side. As others have mentioned I did have a bit of an issue with them turning. Once I tightened the bracket closest to the center of the handlebars, they have been fine.

These grips are as good as it gets for straight MTB style bars
These grips are as good as it gets for straight MTB style bars. I was amazed at the improvement in feel and how much longer it takes for me to start getting hand pain compared to the last set of ergo grips I had on my bike. Yes you can still get hand pain with these... lean on anything long enough and it'll happen. These grips just do an amazing job of holding off the inevitable. As for the folks who are complaining about the grips not staying tight... they must be doing it wrong. Installation is straightforward but you have to do it ALL and to it all right or they are going to move.1. loosen up both nuts on the fore and end of the grip.2. Affix the end cap onto the handlebars (this is going to make sliding the grip on much tougher but it makes sure the end cap stays on like it is supposed to)3. Slide the grip on, but do so carefully so you don't go past the grip plug. You want to stop a little before the grip plug is uncovered so its inside of a shallow hole and thus can't ever come out.4. Tighten the inboard screw until you are happy with the rotational position of the grip.5. Tighten down the screw on the end until you can't rotate the grip. You shouldn't need soap or any other lubricants to let the grip slide over a properly sized bar. If you lube the bar you'll probably never get the grip to stay put.As an alternative to Step 2, you can take a T-handle hex wrench of sufficient diameter and use that to shove the end cap 3/4 of the way down inside of the grip. When you slide the grip on, the cap self-installs on the bar end. This will work MUCH better so long as you use a wrench that fills that plug hole otherwise the cap will spin inside of the grip when you push it in and you will have all sorts of fun straightening it out again.

Grips are not soft but I am still happy with them
I bought these because I was getting sore wrists with my old grips. The shape is comfortable and puts more weight onto the outside of my palms. The pain that I had was on the inner part of my palms where the thumbs connect to the wrist. The gel pads are minuscule and so it is not really a soft grip but they are strong and well designed and so I am happy with them.Installation: Maybe they improved the grip locking design because I did not have any trouble. Someone recommended installing the end pieces before the grips. This would not work or even be possible. Before putting the end caps on, turn the screw a few times to see how it works. When you tighten the screw it squeezed the rubber making it bulge out and this is how it locks tight. Install the grips, then put in the end caps and tighten them down. I did not use any glue or spray on the bars and the grips are still tight and do not move.

Good, but not perfect
Easy to install. Distributes weight on a larger surface so helps but doesn't stop my hands from getting numb 100%. I wish they were a little softer so there would be more cushion which I think would help more. But an improvement over the original straight grips I had before.

Comfy with caveats
This is my first set of lock on grips and I'll forever stick with lock ons because of the ease of installation and removal. These are definitely much more comfortable than the original MTB grips on my bike. The caveats: these add at least an inch of width to the handlebar at each end. If you're hoping to widen your grip a bit, it seems like these will do it. I liked how that worked out on my flat bar. It also means that it could make them feel too wide if you're already pushing it. Also, because they are closed ended, you won't be able to mount any bar end accessories, like a mirror, for example. Overall I like them.CORRECTION: The reason I saw such an extension on my handlebars is because they were not properly installed. I had removed and replaced them a couple of times and in the subsequent installs the interior locking mechanism that is driven by the bolt on the end was not seating properly inside the bar. The (flanges?) were butting up against the end of the bar instead of inserting into the bar.

Fits perfect on a Giant Liv MTB
Very good ergonomics, sturdy, fit tight on the bike handle and won't move once the screws are correctly tightened. Much better than the original ones installed. Make sure the end caps are installed correctly, they should be flush with the grip end. BTW, to remove the old ones I used compressed air with a small nozzle attached to it and just blow air in between the handle and the rubber grip. It should come out in seconds. No need to use the air for installation and do not use lubricants.

Good bang for the buck!
Went on easily. Good value. As good as the others double the price. Really helps elevate wrist and palm fatigue on longer rides

Good quility but slippery when sweaty
Good handles .. comfortable... but a bit too slippery if u are a bit sweaty. Would recommend gloves

Not suited to warmer climates
In less than 6 months, the grey rubber parts of grips have started to go gammy and sticky and break down. They haven't been in the sun much but just in the warmer climate of Australia (Perth). Disappointed as they had a great feel when new and eased wrist strain. Update June 2022: I have noticed that some of the 2 star reviewers have mentioned the same problem in warmer climates at the 6 month stage.
