You don’t have to sync it. If you sync it to your tv the volume will not work. It automatically work for your tv

Make sure about ordering for the right model
I made a mistake and ordered the wrong one, which is fine. The remote still works, just syncing it for the voice search feature doesnt work due to not being exactly right.Nice and sturdier than my remote I had to replace.
