2018 M.C. Escher Wall Calendar (Day Dream) Calendar – Wall Calendar, July 15, 2017

I love this calendar. I have been a fan of Escher since the early seventies when I was profoundly effected by his beautiful work and I still am over forty years later. I'm glad this calendar includes some of his incredible landscapes as well as the more famous surreal works

OK, so its just a calendar. But the artwork is important to many people, and so adds dimension to the dreary task of checking what day it is. From my perspective, it only includes a few of the better known and more likable works of Escher, so some of the pages may not impart so much enjoyment (one work I was looking for was "Castrovalva", but it is not included here). But there are a few which will ring familiar notes with the viewer. Note: It is printed in a format which employs a very dark brown/black color motif, in keeping with the portrayal of the pen/ink and woodblock media Escher used, so will be more "readable" and appreciable in a better-lit location.

I have been using an Escher calendar since the 1980s and enjoy them so much. I have framed some of the pictures, and over the years have quite a collection on my walls.

Could have used some better sketches of his. I like them, but the kids aren't thrilled. The lack of color probably has something to do with it. Still, I do love his illusions.

Always loved Escher and fairly recently got to see an exhibit of his so even better. Love it all!!

It didn't have some of the more famous drawings that most people are familiar with. Still, it's a good calendar for a good price. No issues with the seller.
