Bulletproof Braces Mouth Guard: Most Breathable Thin Mouthguard for Braces!

We were having hard time to find a right sized brace mouthguard for my 10 year old. We tried a few and they were too large, too thick and too bulky - there aren't many for kids. Finally, I found this - it worked perfectly for my child! She says it's thin, easy to breathe and comfortable. It fits well and stays in place. Also, re-moldable part is amazing because brace is adjusted every a few weeks and shape of teeth changes overtime. This is great value for the money.

Working in the orthodontic field, my daughter definitely will be wearing a mouth guard for basketball! This is the 3rd brand we've tried. As a point guard, they need to be able to call out the plays without their MG falling out. The first 2 we tried, a reputable brand, they were way too bulky and would just fall out when she opened her mouth. I knew she wouldn't wear those if I didn't keep searching. Came across the BulletProof brand and gave it a try. The fitting process was a little tricky, several re-do's and tweaks but then we got it. She could talk and open without it falling out. My biggest concern is an elbow or ball to the mouth. I feel no matter what, that will still hurt but at least this will protect her lips from a nasty cut. I did reach out to their customer service just to verify the fitting process and how it fit her. Chris was SOOOOO helpful!!!! He walked me thru the process even though they have a great video and step-by -step instruction. I thought she needed a larger one and I couldn't return the one we were molding. But he ensured me it was the right one and bc if the circumstance, he sent me a brand new one to try it again- bc I want to recommend this to my patients! It is definitely a MG that can comfortably be worn with braces and allows them to play without it falling out. They can focus on the game and not be irritated by their MG! Not a fan. It pinched/wrapped around my son's braces wire and then got stuck..... really stuck. He had to hold hot water in his mouth for as long as he could to loosen up the material, but it ultimately didn't work. He finally got it free after 30 minutes by yanking it.

My son participates in taekwondo. He also wears braces. Braces and sports don’t necessarily mix well, especially when that sport is a contact sport. Bulletproof has made a fabulous product. My son loves how light and breathable this mouthguard is all while securely protecting his teeth and braces from contact. He has used it during sparring class where he also realized he can drink water without the need to remove it and because of how well it fits, he no longer feels like he is choking on his saliva. This was his mouthguard of choice for his most recent tournament and he has said it will continue to be going forward. Thank you for an amazing, quality product!

The size of this mouth guard was perfect for me after molding. While the process of heating and reheating can take awhile to get it just right, the end product fits with precision to the groves of your teeth…this won’t fall out on accident…ever. It’s prevented my teeth from grinding during grapple sessions and I love that I can both breathe and drink with it on. That said, it is a consumable item so I think it’ll need replacing eventually based on the texture it can leave with me sometimes after a hard fall. Prior to this, I have tried other guards for hockey and boxing. This is my favorite thus far.

It’s ok. Daughter likes it but I just hope it protects enough

My son has slight asthma and this mouth guard has been the best so far for hockey. He can drink and talk and breath easily with this mouthguard. Takes a little more time to mold but well worth it and this is with braces. They also have above and beyond customer service. No dealing with waiting weeks to hear back like the big names.

My daughter recently got braces, and she loves playing soccer! There was no way I was going to let her out on the field without protecting that vacation home of an investment in her mouth! This is the only mouthguard she would wear without throwing a tantrum. It allows her to breathe and communicate on the field. The comfort is great for her and it is thin and stays in place. The nice part is that if you mess up on the initial molding process, you can just put it back in the hot water and reform it again. It took me a couple of times to remold it, mainly because I did not follow the precise, incredible directions that were provided. I am a dad? What do you expect?
