For all of you who use towels on your drainboard or counter top for drying glasses, bowls, cups, and dishes, the Dish Drying Mat is what you really want. It stays in place on my counter top and is thick enough to absorb a lot of water. It's especially good for drying wine glasses and other delicate containers you don't want to put in the dishwasher. They dry spotless and quickly. These mats also wash up beautifully in the washing machine and dryer without losing color or brightness.

I was going to give this 4 stars but then thought, why? I've had no issues with it. I think the photos show an accurate representation of the actual color of the mat. We've had this for 10 months, using it daily and heavily because we don't have a dishwasher and we cook almost daily. It sits on top of the washing machine, which is beside the kitchen sink. I'm pointing this out because I would suspect the washing machine does not allow the drying mat to breathe well and air out, yet it dries fairly quickly. We haven't had any odor or mold issues from it remaining wet after many uses. It doesn't seem to be causing any paint bubbling or rust issues on the top of the washing machine, either. I clean this mat about once a month, running it through both the washing machine and dryer, usually with dish towels. The material is still in good condition and barely looks worn. I've accidentally poked a bit under a stitch with a fork or knife and run a blade over bits of it but it hasn't torn. This seems like it's still going to last for a long time so I think it's a great buy.

Often I just have a few dishes to hand wash and don't want to drag out the large and cumbersome dish drainer. This does the job for me. The fabric seems to wick the water away from the dishes and the mat dries quite quickly after I put the dishes away. I like the mesh because it grabs the dishes so they don't slip or slide. I'm glad I bought it.

I love this mat so much! Was looking for a new traditional plastic dish rack and I was having no luck on finding one that I liked. Then I saw this baby and thought I would give it a try. I am very happy with it and have no complaints. I will never go back to dish racks again! Just be careful when lying a knife on this guy...you will nick it.

I purchased this mat for a completely different application - covering my chair to keep the cat fur off! - and it works perfectly. I plan to order one for its actual purpose of dish mat because I like it so much. Also, it washes well and comes out of the dryer looking brand new!

I love this mat. It is large, thick, absorbs a lot of moisture and dries quickly. It stays put on the counter and doesn't slide around. When I am done with it, I hang it to dry and put it in a draw. No dish drainer sucking up counter space! Great product and would definitely recommend.

I really didn't think the dimensions of a drying mat would have such a significant impact as they do with this item. The surface area of this mat is perfect for a heavy use kitchen with lots of dishes. No more quick fix hand towels on the counter when your standard size mat wont suffice.

Excellent drying mat, very absorbent, well made with microfibers. The best part it is machine washable. The color is exactly as the pictures shows. Rich red. Also, this is an extra large mat compared to others on the market. Great product for the cost. Very satisfied with this product.
