A little finicky
After installing this, I found that it was tripped (before using it), and then took a while to get it to stay reset. Since then, I've had no issues, so I presume it is working, but it really resisted being reset at first.

not tripping immediately
I am an HVAC guy and wanted to attach it to my jumper cables for protection from accidental shorts .I tested it by shorting out 24 VAC wires on an air conditioning unit. It did not trip fast enough and blew the 3 Amp fuse that was on the board and having in mind that this is a 2 Amp breaker one gets the idea. I then tested it shorting out the transformer's secondary side directly. Sadly it took about 2 to 3 seconds until it tripped.I takes time to cool it down for resetting but that should not be too much hassle. I would give this a thumbs down as a cheap contraption. To the techs out there I advise them not use these types of breakers. I tested others with worse results. I wish I had any suggestions besides an automotive type fuse .Thank you all guys out there that write reviews on tools and products for our trade. They have helped me so I feel obligated to share my reviews too.

Every HVAC technician should have one
I liked this product, I used it to test and protect low voltage circuits when I’m troubleshooting HVAC units.
