I had to bring all my plants inside bc it’s already cold outside and I did not want my plants to die. I was a little skeptical because I did not know how well this lamp was going to work, but I have to say that I am very happy. After reading reviews I chose the 20v bc some people were saying that their plants were getting burned. Thats no my case. Both my peppers and my Catharanthus roseus need at least 6 hrs a day of light and after tree weeks inside they are both thriving and looking beautiful. The timer is easy to set all you have to do is turn it on and choose the 4, 8 or 12hr timer and it will turn of and turn on my itself everyday. For reference I have mines on a 12 hrs timer and it works fantastic. It’s bright enough and you can adjust where the light is facing. I have to say though that I would like that it could cover a wider area for more plants for the price but I guess that if you are looking for something that not only does the work but also looks good in you house this lamp is the one.

Our plants love these lights. They do run a little warm if you're sitting by them, but don't heat up the entire room. Durable, bright light. Timer works well, although we rarely use it.

I cannot emphasize enough how great this grow light is. The fact that my MONSTERA is blooming growing the largest and healthiest leaves in JANUARY should say enough. I'm even seeing new growth in my aloe plant!!! The grow light is super thin/minimalist so it doesn't interfere with my home decor and im able to squeeze it into tight spaces. Light is adjustable so you can angle it to shine exactly where you need it (can be hot to the touch when adjusting). Automatic timer is a lifesaver, though I wish the options were 4,6, and 8 hours (I find the 12 hour setting to be unnecessary unless your plants are in a windowless room) It is worth noting that the light is VERY VERY bright, do not look directly into the light and keep that in mind when you pick a location to place it. Do NOT point towards your couch, bed, or anywhere that your or your guests might be seated bc it is uncomfortable (even glancing at it accidentally when watering my plants can be overwhelming) Overall I am very pleased with my purchase and recommend this product to anyone with plants that require moderate to bright light.

My ficus tree always drops leaves in the fall, but I decided to try and make it less stressful by providing a good plant light during the winter months. After some searching I found this light, which is tall enough to provide light from up above. It's very nice looking in my living room, not too bright, and fits well with my decor. Very easy assembly, and the instructions for setting the light and timer were very easy to understand. My ficus is still losing leaves, but after a couple of weeks of using this light, it has really tapered off to only a few leaves a day, and none of them have been discolored. There's plenty of new growth on the tree. I consider this a resounding success!!! Really well made light, balanced nicely on the stand, looks great in the room, and works perfectly for the tree. Highly recommended!

EDIT 1/25: The seller reached out within 24 hours of my original review to apologize and offer a solution. Already, I've received a replacement light, which is operating perfectly. I'm updating the rating to 4 instead of 5 since I know there's a chance the new light will also fail, BUT customer service did say they would pass on the feedback to the designer/manufacturer. Overall, I agree with the other positive reviews that this light is easy to assemble, looks amazing, and absolutely improves my plants. And now I know the customer service is also top tier. ORIGINAL REVIEW 1/17: I bought two of these lights about 6 months ago. They're easy to put together, and the light quality is wonderful; my plants under both lights (mostly hoya and fig trees) have grown significantly. However, the power and timer controls have completely failed on one of the lights in LESS THAN A YEAR. The light won't turn on because the wiring inside has broken down. It's incredibly disappointing and frustrating — not worth the money.

Absolute junk! It basically was a cheap piece of trash disguised as something high quality with a price tag that portrayed the same. But in reality it is metal and a decent light, but the wires are cheap and the connections are even cheaper! As I put it together the wires came right out of the connecting bracket deeming it worthless and destroyed the connectors on the end of the cheap wires!

The instructions were super easy to follow. Just be prepared for the size; I did not know this lamp was this tall. I’m not mad because it reaches my other plants in the back. The light is bright, but it’s not adjustable. It has the option to have a four, eight, and twelve hour timer. The black is a matte black, which I like because it looks moré luxurious. My only concern is hopefully it last long since the lamp is expensive. Also I hope the lamp is safe, it won’t pose as a threat. The lamp has weight to it which make it feel expensive and not cheaply made. It is made in China, if anyone cares. As of right now I am happy with my lamp.
