Is each tenda model compatible with each other? I need the pass through adapter as an input and wifi extender downstairs

I have 2 different Tenda models and they work well together.

Does this have to be plugged into pc or can it extend WiFi signal, if so, how?

You plug it into your router and into the wall socket. You plug another socket into the wall where you want your Internet to be stronger, this socket will have an ethernet port on it so you CAN plug it into your computer AND/OR it will send a WiFi signal to your devices, so short answer, no, you don't have to plug it into your computer but.you can.

Is the receiver wireless or does it needed to connected via ethernet to another device

PH3/PH6 is Powerline Adapter kit without WiFi. PH5/PA6 is Gigabit WiFi Powerline Adapter, and also can be hardwired from the receiver to a device.

Had for e week, but now ihave to switch off in the morning and press the par button to get the 3 green lights. Is this norm.?

no its not try plug into a double socket use ethrnet cable press reset button on both at the same time see if that solves the problem
