No they aren't, they are solid wax church candles. Mine are lasting ages.

Can anyone tell me how many candles you get in the set of 2 x 2 and in the set of 3 x 2 as the pricing seems strange?

I ordered the 2x2 - and that's what I got.2 candles in the box Can't tell you about any others...haven't order any!

I do not know. They are wax. Best to ask the seller. I can say I am thrilled with them. They look fabulous.

Is the 125 hours burn time for each candle, or for the two burned one after the other

Each candle will last between 100 and 125 hours depending on the rooms temperature. Colder the room the longer the burn time.
