My son let a friend dye his hair. This helped to get the color out sooner. Worked well without drying out his hair and smells wonderful.

After 2 uses I already see a significant fading to my dyed hair. Would recommend.

I used a green semi permanent dye from good dye young, the under side of my hair was bleached so it turned that blue but the rest of my hair was green. After a month I wanted to try something different, I ordered this shampoo hoping it would fade all the blue & green out. I used this shampoo 12 times because I wanted to be thorough with my review. This shampoo is extremely drying, your hair will feel like hay. I was using head & shoulders conditioner after this shampoo & it helped keep my hair soft. After 12 shampooings the green on my natural hair has faded a little, like maybe 50%. The blue on my bleached hair had faded like 20%. Good dye young says it washes out in around 24 washes so I feel like I could've gotten the same exact results with just regular shampooings. I feel like it's way overpriced & doesn't actually work. You could use a regular clarifying shampoo or even an anti dandruff shampoo & get similar results with less dryness & damage.

Does take color out. Does ruin your hair. So it’s up to you if color or texture is more important. Head and shoulders works pretty well without so much damage but this will strip out a lot of color. My hair was breaking off so bad so be warned.

It really actually helps fade semi permanent hair dye

This works without your hair feeling damaged or dry afterward. I don’t have damaged hair and it left my hair soft and even lifted permanent dye a bit. I was hoping it would.

This does dry out your hair and it doesn’t fade super well. I didn’t have much color left and thought it would get everything out in a wash or two. My hair is salvageable but still too dry now so I would not recommend. Better off just washing it out with regular shampoo.
