Ancol Muddy Paws All Weather Stormguard Coat .Poppy Red Size Small ( Length 30 cm, up to 52cm girth)

Good quality, well made, comfortable fit, warm fleece lining, washes well, dries quickly, keeps our shaved dogs nicely warm on chilly days.

This is the second one of these I have purchased, the first about 5 years ago which is still in great and wearable condition despite the elastic now being a bit stretched out. The coat seems to be completely waterproof having been worn many times in heavy rain and the fleece inside always remains dry and keeps my dog warm even after rolling around in soaking wet grass. It has good chest coverage without restricting any movement, the zip on the back is perfectly placed for wearing a harness underneath and it washes very well and drys quickly.

My dog’s old coat had become quite worn out so was looking for a reasonably priced replacement when I came across this.The good things about this coat are: it’s waterproof (have taken the dog out in heavy rain and has kept him dry), it has a small hole at the top and also a zipped opening which accommodates different types of harnesses (the lead attachment on our harness is quite high up so we are using the top hole), it’s lightweight but seemingly warm as it has a fleecy inner lining.The coat fits quite well. I initially ordered the XXL size on the basis that it recommends this size for Labs and German Shepherds (our dog is s Collie x Lab and is quite long and tall) but this was too big and loose. Requested a refund and ordered the one size down which fits great.The only small downside is that for the coat to stay on properly, you need to use the leg straps (elastic) which my dog is not a huge fan of (he finds it weird but it does not seem to impair his walking or running in anyway and once out on the walk he seems to forget about it) and if the dog gets wet and muddy then getting the coat off becomes a bit of an icky process - apart from this, very satisfied.Also, it’s worth noting that the blue is more of a grey/midnight blue (see my photo), rather than the bright blue shown in the picture - however I think the actual colour is better that the advertised colour as I was a bit worried that mud would show very easily on the light coloured material.

This is a lovely coat, beautifully soft and light but waterproof. I chose it especially because it has the chest and part tummy protection. I chose XL as it stated on the site size chart that XL is the recommended size for a setter, which Ailsa is and when I measured her from collar to tail the size seemed okay - however when it arrived (quicker than stated) it is a little bit shorter along her back than I would have liked - however I think if I had ordered the XXL it would have been too big and baggy around the chest area as she is quite narrow shouldered, but rather long in the body - I luckily am handy with a sewing machine and so I am going to add a bit to the length by using a bit of waterproof material I have.But do be careful about measuring carefully and if your dog seems to be in-between sizes I would suggest going for the bigger size, to be sure the length is correct. I think it would be really good if there was a choice of length (with the same chest size), so it would be easy to get the right length without having to have a broader chest size - but hey ! for the price and quality of the coat, this really is great value, I'm really pleased with it and Ailsa seems quite comfortable in it, she can run around and it stays perfectly in place.

My dog hates all other coats I have tried. This is the only one he lets me put on him. It’s super easy to put on It keeps him warm and dry and he looks good in it

Our Labrador doesn't much like the rain/sleet/cold and I'm not a big fan of him drying himself on the rug after a toweling so ordered an XXL, fits perfectly, he isn't bothered wearing at all despite not having one before, the zip for the harness is brilliant and it is definitely properly water proof! Dog was totally dry during some awful weather so highly recommend it!

Note that it says "small" but they mean extra small. I got my older dog a "medium" in this range and so I ordered my puppy a "small" but received the size down. We had a storm the following day so I had to put it on him anyway. He is a 4 month old cavalier king Charles and is around 4kg. It fits around his waist but is very short. He needed the small.These coats are really good but labelling the sizes wrong is at vest confusing, and at worst a way of shifting unsold stock.

Ho acquistato per 2 volte questo stesso cappotto negli anni perché trovo sia perfetto per la mia cagnolina durante la stagione fredda: foderato all'interno con il pile, all'esterno funge da impermeabile; ha una zip sulla schiena che permette di agganciare il guinzaglio alla pettorina (qualora essa si trovi sotto al capotto) e la chiusura/apertura con velcro è molto pratica da usare

Endlich ein Mantel der wasserdicht ist, gut sitzt und zudem noch sichtbar im Dunkeln ist !!! Für meine Deutsch Kurzhaar Hündin und die kommende Jahreszeit perfekt.

La taille est correcte. Dommage ne protège pas assez le ventre

El abrigo está muy bien está forrado muy calentito para el invierno lo único es que el tallaje está mal las medidas que están en el cuadro no se corresponden yo compré la XL para mi perro que mide 50 cm desde el cuello hasta la cola y le queda justa justa me hubiera venido mejor la XXL

best coat yet and finally one that accommodates the easy walk harness with front clip. this is the best coat ever, easy to put on, warm, roomy, stays in place with Velcro straps and leg straps that fit loosely yet work excellent.
