does what it says on the box.
quick delivery, fair price can not quible. I keep 3 ferrets in this, they love it. Was a nightmare to assemble at first as the instructions are naff, but once you understand the concept, it goes up like a house on fire.

Not suitable.
Turned up bent and broken and with a ramp missing. The ramps that did turn up took up most of the space of the levels. The instructions are awful and very difficult to follow. The doors open inwards which makes putting anything in or getting it out is very difficult. Definitely not a suitable size for degus.

Ferret cage you can adapt
To be clear, this is a ferret cage. The instructions which come with it state it's a ferret cage. The fact that the doors only open inwards I reckon is because ferrets are stronger and could possibly push their way out. The shelves are wire mesh and not suitable for degus. The upper shelves sit on metal brackets which can't be moved. The build instructions are basically a few photos and not massively useful, but once you lay out all the bits (which are all metal) you can work out what goes where based on the doors for the lower two levels and a lid at the top. It fixes together with rods which push through rather than screws, which speeds up the build and makes things easier to redo if you mess up. The cage sits in a metal tray and comes with some plastic connectors to hold the cage to the base (no use for degus as they'd be eaten in no time). The bars are 20mm apart both ways. The packaging isn't great with the cardboard box subject to bending as there's no firm packaging inside. I reckon the cable ties used to pull all the metal together to fit in the box was so tight it'd actually slightly bent some of the parts. To make this work for degus as the price in my view still made it worthwhile, some basic DIY's needed. I left out all the mesh shelves and ladders and bought some kiln dried untreated pine to use as shelves. You could opt for ready made shelves instead but I found that shelves which go fully across the back or front to back made the cage much more solid and reduce rattle, especially when degu's take to their wheel. I also swapped the doors to open outwards as inward opening restricts where you can put things in the cage. The doors and lid are secured with springs with hooks on the ends. Doors are hinged using pieces of the same metal used to make the cage which are bent into a circle. These need to be bent open and then refixed once you've moved the door to the outside. This should be simple but proved quite fiddly and frustrating, but was well worthwhile.

Degus.
I have three Degus, but one is a bit of a Houdini. This is a lovely cage, and a good size and they love it.It isn`t at all easy to put together as it needs more than one person. One person to hold the sides together, as it builds upwards and you need to slide the rods in to hold the corners together. The Instructions are not very good, but once to start it dawns on you, but I printed out the picture from here of the cage to help. Now it`s up and in use it`s lovely and escape proof. I just wish the doors opened outwards as it makes things a little difficult at times.

I liked the quality
it was cheapest option i could find for this size. I liked the quality. It was easy to asemble, easy to clean. Rats were crazy about 2 floor palace.

Crap!
Cheap and the instructions were terrible. No way in hell is this junk worth £50 and the pictures look like some sort of plastic for each shelf which there isn't. Avoid this at all costs!

Three Stars
Great cage but hard to put together and still have 2 of the rods sticking out the cage

Was very hard to put together but I worked it ...
Was very hard to put together but I worked it out. The ad showed that it was on wheels and main reason I bought it. No where on the ad did it say does not come with wheels so was shocked when it arrives and on the box it said wheels bought separately.
