Great idea and each works well, but...
Ordered this for a trip we took recently and while it works well if you have either your phone OR your watch charging...when you are doing BOTH at the same time...it's an issue. It charges slow and eventually one craps out (mostly the phone). However, when you are charging JUST the watch or JUST the phone, it gives you a quick charge. It's very handy to have both together so you only have to carry ONE cord, but that's a caveat and IMHO a big one because if you plan on charging both items...you're gonna need another cord anyway. We did try this with a couple of different power blocks to make sure that wasn't the issue but we got the same result each time...so it's clearly that the cord needs a little more OOMPH to charge both things. That issue is why I took a star off. Otherwise this is a nicely made charging cord...it's braided which is nice and holds up well. Your results on charging both things may vary, and if you are planning on leaving your stuff overnight to charge so you don't care about speed, then this cord is more than fine, and it's a good price compared to others of this type. But if you need something to charge both a watch and a phone quickly, then this is probably not the cord set for you.

quick charge
I have mixed feelings about the cord. I don't like the flexibility it has due to previous experiences with these types of cords but so far so good. I don't have a shortening in it or anything. The only downfall is that it doesn't community with my car when I'm trying to connect it to Bluetooth. Aside from that not bad. I like that the cube is included.

Both chargers work well.
Because I have an iPhone and iPad and my wife has an Apple watch I asked Amazon to review this charger. The charger works very well on my iPhone 13 Pro and my wife's Apple watch. I have a Puregear rapid charger, which I used for comparison purposes. I first used the Puregear device when my watch was at 16% power. I measured in 10-minute increments how much power the phone had. It increased to 38% in the first 10 minutes. It went to 55% in the second 10 minutes. In the third, it went to 68%. In the last 10 minutes, it went to 77%.I next used this 2-1 charger and had similar results. It started at 15% and in 10-minute segments, it resulted in the following: 35%, 52%, 68%, and finishing at 75%. The results were almost identical. You might notice that in both chargers, the phone's power increased much faster when the power on the phone was lower. I'm not sure what that means but it was consistent with both chargers; there are several possibilities for this. On my wife's Apple watch, I just tested it once., It increased the watch's power by 20 % ( 48% to 68%) in 20 minutes. The website says that it takes 2 hours to charge your phone and 2 1/2 hours to charge your watch. I would think those numbers are a little conservative but not by much. The one observation I did make between the two chargers is that the Puregear rapid charger left my phone warmer. The importance of this is that there is some evidence that the warmer your phone gets while charging, the more wear there is on the overall life of the battery.I do have several cautionary observations. First, the cords themselves use a USB-3 connector. It limits you in several respects. First, you can't just plug it into most cars because most cars have older USB ports. Second, when you travel, especially out of the country, most hotels don't have USB-3 ports, so you have to bring the cable, a converter box, the plug, or another charging cable with a USB connection. Finally, if you look on the web at other 2-1 charging devices you will find that occasionally people will complain that after 5 or 6 months the charger stopped working. If I find this to be a problem in the future I will update this review.

Frequent Traveler Necessity
So I travel for work from time to time and I always have to have multiple charging cables and power blocks and then have to find plugs to charge my phone and watch at night. This combo is great as I only need to travel with 1 cable and one block and I only need to find one plug to use to charge my devices.

It's OK
It works to charge iPhones & Apple Watches, but my experience has been that the watch charges a lot slower with this than the included charger. At first I wasn't fully sure and wanted to make sure it wasn't just my imagination, so I tested it out. I charged the watch for 10 minutes on this charger and it went from 10% to 18%, adding just 8%. I then charged the watch for 10 minutes on the included charger and it went from 18% to 33%, adding 15%. Just to be sure it wasn't because of a difference in state of charge, I waited for it to drop down to 10% and charged for 10 minutes on the included charger which gave 17%.Essentially, this charges my Apple Watch (which is a Series 4) a little slower than half the speed of the OEM Apple charger. Note that these tests were performed without any device connected to the lighting side of the charger. If you just want the convenience of having only one cable to charge both devices, this might be for you - but for me, I'll carry both cables along so I don't have to wait as long for the watch to charge.

👍🏻
No issues or complaints. Perfect for anyone who travels…this will save you from having to carry multiple cords. It’s no faster (or slower) than the the original cables that came with my watch and phone. 👍🏻

Made My Watch Hot
This is a good 2-in-1 solution for those who don’t want to drag a bunch of different cables with them when traveling. It doesn’t charge any faster than any others I’ve seen, but it does charge. I’m leery of using it, however, because it made my watch pretty hot. I think I’d rather keep looking for a safer charge option than risking my watch’s health. It’s getting on up there in years, but my Apple charger doesn’t make it hot, so I know it’s not the watch. Would still use this charger as a phone charger though because I didn’t notice any abnormalities in my phone after using it. Overall, 3 stars.
