This is a brilliant machine that makes good coffee and has saved me a small fortune whilst inter railing around Scandinavia. It works equally well with pods or ground coffee (I took pods with me on my hols for ease) and being able to use hot or cold water is so useful. I often have a flask of hot water but when I don’t I can still make a coffee to kick start my day.It will also be great for camping so I can see I am going to get plenty of use out of it.There are some drips and it is a bit messy but I found using a small microfibres cloth sorted all that out… I stand the machine on the cloth while using the cup (to absorb drips) and then give the whole think a wipe down with the cloth when I’ve finished.Photo is my coffee on the train.

The media could not be loaded. bought the Outin Espresso for my partner’s birthday because he loves a proper espresso. We travel all over the Peloponnesus, and, truth be told, we’re a little bit of coffee snobs – we adore high-quality, organic coffee. In Greece, finding truly great coffee can be a bit of a challenge, so I was a little sceptical about buying this machine.But wow – it won us over instantly. We’ve used it with both cold and hot water, and it’s been flawless every time. The espresso it produces is rich, full of flavour, and crowned with a beautiful, velvety crema. It feels like café-quality coffee in the palm of your hand.Compact, portable, and easy to use, it’s become our travel companion wherever we go. Honestly, you can’t fault it – it’s a game-changer for coffee lovers on the move. Highly recommended!

Good quality, does what it says. Perfect gadget to throw in the car or backpack when you are out for holiday or fishing or just relaxing outdoors by nature. I would say its amazing for people who travel places where are no shops or anything. Good for work van . Perfect companion for lorry drivers.. makes coffee relatively quick and nice and strong.. it comes out hot ... I am glad i didn't buy cheaper versions as this does. Exactly what it says..Its a good gift for somebody.

Either faulty battery or false advertised. The machine made a maximum of 2 drinks before the battery was flat. First time I died after 1 drink, I charged it for the following day it died after 2 drinks. I emailed outin direct and got a email back within in a few hours, asking for a copy of recipe no mater where I bought it and a video of the fault, 4days and got no reply, so returning for a refund.Only thing positive I can say is the 2 drinks it made where very good brews.

Amazing coffee. I have been using this very frequently for the past few months and when commuting or staying over, its in my backpack. I've tried both fresh espresso and the NS capsules and they work a treat. I prefer the espresso basket over the capsule, and did have a few botched attempts at the capsultes where they failed to dispense the coffee properly but suspect this might be down to me not firmly pressing the capsules into the basket. Overall extremely happy with my purchase and I may purchase the new outin nano grinder next :)

Great coffee when out and about

Size of a small vacuum flask and probably about the same weight so easily portable in a back pack. It will brew espresso from ground coffee or nespresso pods.The battery lasts 3 to 4 espressos using cold water straight from the tap before it gives up-water from a bottle that has reached ambient temperature might give a bit more.Using hot water from a vacuum flask brews a whole lot more, the flask capacity becoming the limiting factor rather than the battery.Even when using cold water, brewing is quick and the hopper and filter are easy to clean out for the next brew.All good and very easy to make “espresso with view”.

It can make espresso from ground coffee as well as Nespresso coffe pods due to two separate attachments provided (approx 6g ground coffee per serving) . Compared to Nespresso stationary coffee makers la crema is weaker, thinner but very nice. For purists and double shot lovers there is an option to buy a separate attachment allowing the use of 16g ground coffee. It is however very expensive, nearly £48 and shipment/delivery takes a few weeks. Perfect set up for coffee on the go, I use it at work daily, adding hot water, as using cold water allows only a few on one battery charge. When hot water is used it lasts easily a week making 2-3 coffees a day. Expensive little marvel of technology, worth the price in my opinion. Word of advice, that device requires specifically 5V/3A charger to work properly. Many USB chargers for portable devices are 5V/2A, it is not enough to charge, I nearly returned the item failing to charge before I got the more powerful one. It is not how many watts, it is the output in Ampere units that counts.
