OutIn Nano Portable Electric Espresso Machine, Travel Coffee Maker

This has been one of those crazy purchases that has genuinely improved my life, an expensive outlay but no regrets. It means I have excellent coffee at work and I can take it on day trips, camping, beach trips and hikes. Making espresso on a secluded beach has been a delight. I've suffered no end of jealous and inquisitive colleagues.In terms of functionality it is very versatile. The battery capacity can manage five espressos, using room temperature water and i don't even know how many using preboiled water.It comes with two adapters, one for nespresso pods and one for grounds. I use the pods one all the time. I use it about ten to twelve times a week and I've had it a couple of months, I'm very happy with how it performs. If it uses preboiled water it takes less than a minute to produce an espresso. If using cold water it can vary depending on the water temperature but around five minutes.Thise little gadget produces espresso that rivals proper full sized machines. Espresso is pumped creating thick crema.I find it easy to keep clean. Once used it isn't going to leak out remnants so can be stored and cleaned when back home. All the parts requiring cleaning separate and can be rinsed well. The water reservoir can be dried out easily.The only way I could suggest improving this would be to sell an upgraded cup, a nice titanium espresso beaker would be very cool.One thing I really did appreciate from the manufacturers is good instructions and the inclusion of not one but three logo stickers. I wish more brands did that.

Fantastic piece of kit, decent quality coffee wherever you go. I bought mine for the office, beats instant coffee any day having a nice espresso to start the morning. I bought the double espresso basket as well to supplement this, much easier to use than the single basket, comes with a nice metal press and funnel.I have only used the heating function once or twice, generally using boiling water, but it does give a nice hot cup, even from cold water. I choose to use hot water to maintain battery. On a full charge I probably got over 2 months worth of shots before charging again.I find the best coffee is delivered by stopping the flow after a few seconds, before coffee starts to drip, wait a few seconds and then go full pour - the crema is a lot thicker this way.Bought the official case to go with it and found a nice small plastic pot to hold a few shots of ground coffee, it all fits very nicely.Writing this review after around 9mths of ownership, having just received a replacement. My original one developed a leak, can't praise the customer service enough. Reported the problem on Friday morning and had a brand new one in my hands on Sunday before lunch - great customer care. After all, it's not about something going wrong, it's how you are dealt with afterwards. Thank you Outin Care Team for your 100% performance.If you don't want to explain to colleagues and friends "what on earth is that", "how does it work" then this is not for you, if you do want great coffee, wherever, then get yourself one.

This is a brilliant machine that makes good coffee and has saved me a small fortune whilst inter railing around Scandinavia. It works equally well with pods or ground coffee (I took pods with me on my hols for ease) and being able to use hot or cold water is so useful. I often have a flask of hot water but when I don’t I can still make a coffee to kick start my day.It will also be great for camping so I can see I am going to get plenty of use out of it.There are some drips and it is a bit messy but I found using a small microfibres cloth sorted all that out… I stand the machine on the cloth while using the cup (to absorb drips) and then give the whole think a wipe down with the cloth when I’ve finished.Photo is my coffee on the train.

Initially I would have given this 5 stars, I was so excited to use it for camping and it worked really well. Roll forward to about 2 months in and it started to not pierce the capsule leading to water spilling out around the side of the capsule chamber over. I tried all the trouble shooting videos and it worked ok for a couple of brews. Since then it's a game of chance as to whether it works and pierces the capsule, extracting coffee, or it's a mess of spilled hot water inside and outside the machine itself with no coffee. Today I've given up. I've cleaned it, watched enough Outin fix videos to rival the longest Netflix series, and have had enough. I contacted Amazon via live chat and they are arranging for me to return it (5 months after purchase) and will give me a full refund. How disappointing, I had high hopes for this little gadget and wanted it to replace my Nespresso Virtuo at home too due to their hugely inflated coffee pod prices.

Incredible machine, beautiful coffee anywhere, I take it everywhere with me, I work away a lot and I love knowing that every morning no matter where I am I'm going to wake up to a great cup of coffee.I've taken this to the Scottish Highlands wild camping for days and it's such a luxury to have a amazing coffee in amazing surroundings, I never leave home without it.When I had an problem with my Outin machine I emailed Outin customer support and after explaining the problem they sent me a brand new machine out.Absolutely superb customer service.I've made several people coffee's when I've been out and about and all of them have now become the owner of this incredible take anywhere coffee machine.I just love it.

Absolutely brilliant little machine. Wasn’t quite sure what it was going to be like based on the reviews but it makes amazing espresso that is just as good as my espresso machine at home. I use this at work so I don’t have to drink the granulated coffee there and I take it camping and to hotels. It’s honestly a brilliant machine. I completely recommend it. I have no criticisms of it. It comes out hot and you won’t regret buying one.

I love it as I get stuck at work in isolation and cannot be relieved to go out and this allows me to have a good coffee. I still did not get the hang of the button. It is one long press, two presses? Coffee is good ( I use it with pods as like I said it is for when I am stuck) . I would have loved the water reservoir to get more water in it. It is literally enough for one medium shot. But is is enough for me. Charging is required immediately prior to use. I charged it the day before and Tok it with me and did not play ball.

bought the Outin Espresso for my partner’s birthday because he loves a proper espresso. We travel all over the Peloponnesus, and, truth be told, we’re a little bit of coffee snobs – we adore high-quality, organic coffee. In Greece, finding truly great coffee can be a bit of a challenge, so I was a little sceptical about buying this machine.But wow – it won us over instantly. We’ve used it with both cold and hot water, and it’s been flawless every time. The espresso it produces is rich, full of flavour, and crowned with a beautiful, velvety crema. It feels like café-quality coffee in the palm of your hand.Compact, portable, and easy to use, it’s become our travel companion wherever we go. Lo aclaro porque soy exigente y no me conformo con cualquier resultado. Este tipo de café requiere un trato más cuidadoso en su elaboración y, como ocurre con todo, tiene una curva de aprendizaje: el mejor rendimiento se consigue tras varias preparaciones, y cuanta más experiencia, más fácil resulta obtener un espresso excelente. Con esto último, en alusión solo al usar café molido.Cuando la compré era bastante escéptico, sobre todo porque el propio James Hoffmann no la recomendaba. Sin embargo, decidí probarla.Entrega y presentaciónEl paquete llegó en perfecto estado y dentro del plazo. La descripción del producto en la web coincide fielmente con lo recibido.Calidad y construcciónSe ve ya desde el mismo paquete que es un producto de calidad. En mano no defrauda, se siente cómodo y está muy bien construido. Transmite solidez y sorprende lo ligera que es: solo 670 gr.Es, hasta la fecha, casi la única cafetera portátil capaz de calentar el agua gracias a su batería de 7500 mAh, con autonomía para preparar hasta 5 cafés. Si usas agua ya caliente, puedes preparar muchos más.La utilizo en vacaciones, camping, viajes o en la oficina; desde que la tengo, nunca me falta un buen café.Admite cápsulas tipo Nespresso y café molido. En mi opinión, este kit debería venir de serie, aunque encarezca el producto, porque si buscas un espresso auténtico, lo vas a necesitar sí o sí.No me detengo demasiado en la opción de cápsulas tipo Nespresso, francamente el resultado es excelente, tan solo introducir la cantidad de agua deseada para el tipo de bebida y listo, un resultado en la práctica idéntico al de cualquier cafetera de sobremesa, con la ventaja de que puedes usarla en cualquier lugar y situación.Volviendo como máquina puramente para espresso, con el kit obtendrás un espresso de verdad, siempre que utilices un café de calidad, preferiblemente arábica de especialidad, recién molido para espresso (necesitarás un buen molinillo, aunque sea manual) y agua mineral. El kit incluye ajustador, distribuidor y tamper para conseguir una buena compactación.Para obtener el mejor resultado, recomiendo seguir un ratio 1:2: por ejemplo, 16 g de café para 32 g en taza, en un tiempo de extracción de 25–30 segundos. Si no respetas estos parámetros, el resultado será decepcionante. Hay que tomárselo con calma, disfrutar del proceso y del aprendizaje. El espresso es, con diferencia, la preparación más exigente en técnica y precisión, más que Moka, V60, Melitta, Aeropress o prensa francesa.ConclusiónLa compré en oferta y ha sido una gran adquisición para mí y para mi mujer. Con café molido de especialidad requiere trabajo y técnica, pero vale la pena. Con cápsulas, en cambio, es muy sencillo y disfrutarás igualmente.Como sugerencia para futuras versiones, incorporaría un sistema de apagado automático al quedarse sin agua, para evitar que la bomba funcione en vacío. Así como poder selección la temperatura, estaría bien.En definitiva, un excelente y versátil cafetera portátil, espresso y de cápsulas, la recomiendo sin ninguna duda.

Vous cherchez une machine à expresso compacte, nomade et performante? Cette machine Outin Nano est clairement une option intéressante. Offerte pour mon mari VTC, il l’a depuis plusieurs semaines au travail, et voilà ses impressions.Contexte & usage :Il travail en voiture, donc j’avais besoin d’un accessoire qui me permette de me faire un bon café sans dépendre d’une machine qui prend de la place. Cette “machine à expresso portable” est annoncée comme chauffant rapidement, pesant seulement ~670 g. Je l’ai testée avec des capsules Nespresso.Points positifs :• Elle est vraiment légère (≈ 670 g), donc facile à déplacer• Elle chauffe rapidement : elle monte à ~92°C pour ~50 ml d’eau en ~200 secondes.• Compatibilité intéressante : café moulu et capsules. Ce qui donne de la flexibilité.• Le design est joli, finition métal/ABS/acier inoxydable, ce qui donne une impression “qualité”.À noter / limites :• L’autonomie batterie peut être limitée si vous utilisez de l’eau pas chaude: pour mon cas (espresso) j’en ai pour environ 4-5 tasses• Le réservoir est assez petit (~50 ml) donc pour des tasses longues ou des usages intensifs, il peut sembler juste.• Le prix est plus élevé que les machines filaires classiques, mais c’est le prix de la mobilité.Conclusion :Si vous voyagez, utilisez souvent un café à l’extérieur ou avez besoin d’une solution compacte pour le bureau, cette machine portable Outin Nano est un bon choix. Elle combine praticité, puissance et finitions soignées. Si vous faites principalement des cafés “normaux” chez vous, vous pouvez peut-être opter pour une machine plus simple et moins chère.

Nice Machine, bit bulky but does the Job. Though coffee output is not enough as the cup is small. Landed using the Coffee Pods, as they are strong well packed and easy to use. Good for travelling in the car/ Train or Plane. if you have the space.
