Ubiquiti LiteBeam AC Gen2 5GHz AirMAX AC Parabolic Antenna

I run a Wireless Internet Service Provider and use a lot of these Litebeam aerials they have much higher gain than the 13db Loco which is a better choice for short range, while maintaining a price point that works. With a pair of these and good line of sight you should be able to maintain links of over 300Mb/s over a few kilometres. We are typically connecting into sector antennae and they do this easily. Excellent as Stations on a radio network or simply to connect two remote locations. That are not hard to configure for simple networks. Set them up on bridge mode and just keep a log of the IP you assign each radio. The IP for each aerial does need to be different and they ship at 192.168.1.20. Change the last number and keep it unique and then you can address them all easily. There are lots of people who can help with queries on the ubiquity forum, but with a little basic IP knowledge they are easy to set up.

Needed these as one of our sites needed to expand to a building across the road. Very easy to configure a trunked port and a management interface for the antennas. Alignment software is comprehensive, yet easy to use. I really liked the guest account option - I was able to preconfigure the antennas and ship them to site, where I gave the electricians the guest account credentials, so they can properly align the antennas without giving them access to configuration options. Site has been using these for half a year now with no loss of quality of service

I have years of experience working on WiFI, Long distance and backhaul / PtP links. This Ubiquity stuff has literally blown away any preconceptions I may have had; this stuff surpasses the limits of most carries class. Backhauls. Get hold of an old pair of Nanostatoon M5s and they will blow your socks off! Strong and stable you can easily reach 9 miles ( good line -of-sight and do your best on Frensel some). Never known one to break down, and some are 10 years old!

Had some problems initially with the satellite disconnecting the "slave" satellite but it turned out to be a faulty ethernet cable that was causing it to turn off and on quickly. Since the problem was fixed its been working flawlessly. Overall signal strength and speed perfect for my application. The distance between the satellites is around 300 meters by the satellite estimation.

Just fitted a pair of these from a house to an outbuilding, great product, very well packaged and went up like a dream, no hard copies of setup instuctions but being me i just seemed to wing it together, works perfectly!

Ho preso 2 antenne Ubiquiti LiteBeam M5 AC Gen2 per creare un ponte radio punto-punto: distanza 1.5 km, campo aperto senza alcun ostacolo. Avevo sentito parlare molto bene di Ubiquiti ma questa è stata la prima volta che ne ho provato un prodotto: nulla da dire, uno tra i migliori rapporti qualità prezzo sul mercato e un'esperienza utente (anche nell'installazione fai-da-te) da cui altre aziende dovrebbero prendere esempio. Le antenne sono facili da montare e, tramite il QR code sulla scatola, si accedere alla guida online sul sito Ubiquiti fatta molto bene: chiara, con immaggini e in 5 lingue. Sono rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso dalla cura nelle istruzioni e la qualità della fattura e dei materiali delle due antenne acquistate. Il ponte che ho creato tra i due punti è molto stabile anche se fin'ora è stato sottoposto al massimo a forte vento, forte pioggia e.... però ancora non alla neve. Secondo quanto garantito dall'antennista di fiducia, non dovrebbero avere problemi anche in tal caso e la qualità del collegamento non dovrebbe essere intaccata. Ho fatto il puntamento dell'antenna trasmittente ad occhio e quello della ricevente tramite l'interfaccia airOS che, tramite un tool dedicato interno, permette di capire se il puntamento è buono e se le antenne si guardano l'un l'altra con precisione. Collegarsi all'antenna è veramente semplice in quanto, non appena la si alimenta, per 15 minuti l'antenna genera una rete wifi. Una volta connessi a tale rete tramite setup.ui.com si accede all'interfaccia dedicata alle configurazioni. Consiglio vivamente queste due antenne. Pienamente soddisfatto!!

Wir hatten es auf 5 Meter Testbetrieb eine Hervoragende Qualität. Verarbeitung ist ok, bisschen sanfte Gewalt dann klippt das Plastik in das Metall. Konfiguration ist für den IT-Mensch easy, fein tunining kann dann etwas dauern. Sollte an eine Stange montiert werden. :) Das Mngt Wlan kann man abschalten, dann nervt es auch nicht mehr.
