I actually ordered these lemon slices for use as table decor for a fun Italian Summer inspired table setting. The scent was a bit overpowering at first but pleasant when placed out of the jar for a day or so. The preserved lemon slice was definitely an elegant detail vs the plastic option. I have PLENTY left over and think the quality will hold up for some time. The lemon slices did not feel brittle or snap/fall apart. I was easily able to slip a ribbon thru the slice and tie around a napkin as shown in pictures .

I use these in simmer pots, they are nice and brightly coloured compared to some dried oranges that come dark and almost moldy looking. I’d feel safe using these in cocktails
