Lovely gift but a lot smaller than I would’ve wanted it to be. The wooden holder for the glass ball is “laminated plastic wood”. Not terrible but decent for the price.

It is a cute globe. As it is a gift I am sure they will find a perfect niche for their daily reminder of their aim to save the whale.
