Great album, great sender, great sound, great band!
Super fast and professional delivery. The album sounds amazing -- one of the greatest bands of all time, in a gloriously-packaged multi-album format -- couldn't ask for anything better.

Absolutely best compilation of band!!
This is truly an essential collection of the bands amazing songs over the years. They were the zenith of rebel/punk bands. This collection is nicely remastered in a way that brings the bass to life. If you're a Clash fan than you already know and own all these songs. If you're not a true Clash fan but love songs like "Rock the casbah" and "I fought the law" then you truly must own this collection. The tracklisting covers some of the best stuff they ever recorded. Keep in mind this is not a live cd but a collection of recorded songs that were the setlist for the live show; therefore, the sound quality is excellent. It's amazing how relevant these songs remain today with world conditions. They definitely were not afraid to bear their soul in their lyrics, which at times were considered protest songs. It's a shame we don't have a band like the CLASH in the modern era.

PLAY IT LOUD
These are the first words you send when you open the CD case. These studio songs were based on a set list of Joe Strummers and are NOT live performances but the remastering sound so good who cares?Hats of to Mick Jones for the remastering of these songs. It is absolutely unbelievable. If you're a Clash fan you'll remember that no matter how hard you listened to their early albums (White Riot, Give 'Em Enough Rope) you couldn't understand a word Joe Strummer sung. I don't know how Mick did it but now I can make out almost 75% of his words on this album. It's not just the vocals that sound better either. You can easily pick out every instrument on every song. The bass is deep and solid and sounds just like a Clash album should. All Clash fans should run out and buy this right away! Plus in usual Clash fashion you can't beat the price. The cool thing about this CD is that it's the perfect Clash mix for you car. It's been in my car CD player since I received it. If you're a Clash fan it'll be the same for you.PLAY IT LOUD!

Remastered in a way that you can hear the difference.
Big Clash fan tho not big enough to spend over $100 for that giant box set. This and the 5 album box were all I need from that giant box set cuz they're both full of the newly remastered versions. It's cool that they put the first 3/4 of this 2 cd set in the set list order of one of their shows and then filled out the 2nd cd with more remastered tracks. It's always a question whether the remastering makes an actual difference or not. Here and in the 5 cd set it definitely does. It's more clear, you can hear stuff in a way that the original albums and the first cd releases just didn't have. It's a treat. Not massively different just clarity and, to a big 'ol fan, a noticeable difference. Worth the purchase.

Is there a like button on Amazon?
I definitely liked this CD with the remastered songs. The music sounds sharp and clear. Strummer's voice comes alive (no pun intended) in the songs and really provides a lot of deep emotion. You will definitely want to listen to this on a great sound system in order to enjoy the clarity of the remastered songs. Crank up the volume and lose yourself in the only band that matters. Most serious Clash fans will have all these songs on many different discs already. My Clash collection was incomplete because I never spent much money on collecting music and some of the ones I did have I have lost through the years or they became damaged. This is a great CD to start building up my Clash collection again. If you aren't sure about The Clash get this CD to try them out, well worth the money.

Revisit The Clash - Wow, What a Blast!
In High school in the late 70's/early 80's I was into hard rock, etc but I didn't really explore The Clash, besides liking their videos on MTV. I am really glad I grabbed this collection 32 songs for $5. Their depth of music knowledge is surprising - old school, reggae, jazz, and of course punk - is all in this catalog. Lyrics are penetrating, not just surface crap. Really enjoying listening to this over and over - I should have done it sooner knowing how many bands I like that were influenced by them.
