Do these have MSG?

Hi there,
There is no MSG in the Grill Mates products. Although Monosodium Glutamate is approved by the Food & Drug Administration, many consumers do have a concern about its addition to food products. Monosodium Glutamate (MSG) is used to enhance the natural flavor of foods. In response to consumer feedback and their desire for healthier products, McCormick and Co. instituted a Clean Label Initiative in early 2008, with the goal of removing Monosodium Glutamate (MSG), from many of our products. At this time, we have successfully removed MSG from all of our retail products. In the past, whenever MSG was directly added to our products, it was always labeled in the ingredient statement. If a package has a claim of “No MSG” with an asterisk, the product may contain naturally occurring forms of MSG from ingredients such as Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein's and Autolyzed Yeast Extract's. A statement will be present on the back panel of the label to state this information. We encourage you to read the ingredient statement on our packages at the time of your purchase. ~ Erica
