Perhaps I was much too cautious but where the video takes seconds to disassemble the groomer, it took me hours of fiddling with it. I was trying not to break anything and it took a fair amount of prying to finally get everything apart. Having done similar repairs in the past, I frequently encountered materials that did not hold up to much pressure. In this case the materials were robust and nothing broke. Knowing that, if I were to do it again, it likely would require a quarter if the time. But now, it works!One nice extra, they included a spudger for the disassembly. Saved having to go rummaging through drawers.

The solder tabs were put on upside down, resulting in reverse polarity after installation. I did not check this before installing, assuming the battery pack was correctly assembled. Hopefully, it did not damage the shaver.

This is the oem pack for the Norelco multi head all in one grooming tool. The shaver head on this model is the one with just two rotary discs. Battery pack fits well, allowing it to be soldered in place with no modifications. Took a full charge and has the power and runtime of when it was new, saved an otherwise perfectly good shaver from being tossed.

The description doesn’t tell you that you have to unsolder the battery and re-solder the new one. Very deceptive. You know how they get away with it? They put it in the installation video. Now I have to go out and buy a solder gun? Watch the video and make sure you think you can solder the new battery pack before you purchase. Also, I would’ve been more prepared and made sure I had a soldering gun before I took the whole thing apart.
