ProtectorTech HD ABS Coil Cover for Garrett ACE 150, 200i, 250 Metal Detectors

It's a nice tight fit over the detector coil and is a cheap way of adding a bit of extra protection. I found it a little annoying that it covers the entire coil area, so you can't see the ground through the gaps in the coil. I have cut a hole in my cover to expose the gap inside the inner coil, so I can easily see the exact bit of ground over the centre of the target.

An absolute must if your 150 is supplied without a coil cover. Protect it from potential damage with this fairly heavy duty coil cover. Fits tight and wont come off. It wont interfere with your detecting ability. I bought this from Amazon as it was as cheap as anywhere else if not cheaper..

For that extra bit of protection, can't really go wrong. Is it essentially? I don't know. Maybe you don't need it, but it is definitely worth it if you eventually plan to sell your metal detector and keep it in excellent condition.
