My husband has been hunting for these for years and he finally realized he could order them, he is in hog heaven lol very fresh, taste is perfect, and great packaging so no smushed cookies

The cookies taste like Oreo cookies, but with a hint of maple. Delicious! However, the cookies were in pieces as the box was smashed and obviously didn't travel well.

Hi fellow Canadian Maple cookie lovers. This is an update from my previous post explaining that there can only be one Best Cookie no matter how it arrives. . I still feel that way. Your maple trees and cookies drives away the thoughts of all the destruction our current government has brought to the world. I am truly sorry. My four pack of the world’s best cookie arrived and have been happily eaten. I have one complaint which I hesitated to voice because I love and admire Canada. My husband and I opened the box of the 4-pack of cookies. Every pack of the cookies had been smashed to pieces. We had no choice to eat everything with a spoon. The box it had arrived in was also banged up as if an elephant had sat on it. See, nothing wrong with the cookies except the pulverized state of the cookies. I have no interest in blaming anyone. I feel badly to even bring this up. But the cookies were not the same delight in eating a whole cookie. I lived in Alaska most of my whole life. So driving to the states was always an outstanding blend of being in in what fellow Alaskans called our sister country. Yup, better to drive those 2-3 days in this unique country than miss the kindness of every Canadian by flying through. My only sadness in writing this is to ask to please tell the right people to pack the box with padded papers or anything to keep the cookies in one piece. I am on Canada’s side on every embarrassing moment the Trump administration spoke and mistreated your lovely country. I blame my own country for the beat up box. And I don’t travel much anymore because of health reasons. I want to order another box because they are comfort cookies and I don’t know of any other way to get them. Thanks for listening. We like this cookie. Every time someone goes to Canada by Airplane, I ask them to buy this cookie for us because they only sell those in the Airport in Canada. But now I found out that we can order it by Amazon. That made us happy. They sell similar cookies in Trader Joe's, but taste is not the same at all.

Let me start out by saying I bought the Turkey Hill Maple Cream cookies by mistake., I thought i was buying North Hatley Maple Syrup cookies. I realized it the day after ordering it. But with Amazon Prime service it was already on its way. I thought, no worries, just return them. WRONG!. I went to return them and was informed that I couldn't. Now it doesn't state on the product page that it's returnable. But you need to dig into Amazon's policies to find it 'clearly' stated that it isn't. So I thought, lesson learned. Open one of the boxes and taste the cookie and give a fair and honest review. Who knows they might be as good (or even better) than the North Hatley Maple Syrup cookies that I got in Ontario ( found out they're not available in the U.S. ). So here's my review: 1) The Turkey Hill cookies had a sell through date of August 2020. Given that as I write this review its only September 2019 no problem. 2) None of the cookies were broken. So far so good. 3) The Turkey Hill cookies part of the 'sandwich' tasted dry and heavy. Unlike the North Hatley cookie which tasted light and moist. 4) The 'cream filling' of the Turkey Hill cookie was also dry and paste like. Similar to a out of sale date "Oreo" filling. The North Hatley filing was truly creamy. 5) Finally the 'secret ingredient' : Maple. You could barely taste the "Maple'" flavor in the Turkey Hill cookie. Unlike North Hatley where the "Maple Syrup" taste was what you'd expect from a Canadian "Maple'" cookie. Bottom Line: If you're a Canadian go to Amazon.ca and order the North Hatley Maple Syrup cookie. They're truly one of the best tasting cookies in the world ..especialy if you love "Maple" cookies. If, like me , you're in the U.S. and long for Canadian Maple cookies.. keep looking!

Oh my gosh! These cookies are so yummy that after you eat the first one, it's hard to stop! Maple is one of my all-time favorite flavors. These have a nice maple flavor creme. The cookies itself is a very delicate texture and tastes great. I will be buying these again in future purchases.

One box some were crushed and the other worse again. The other 2 boxes were fine. We ate them anyway. Also they are very delicious!!!!
