One of Julia’s best really enjoyed the story. The writing makes it so easy to feel connected to the characters and wish the happy ending on.

Elise and Weston have know each other since childhood. He is her brother’s best friend. When she comes home after leaving a failed relationship behind he gives her a job. They used to be close, but things between them have cooled over they years. When he starts popping in to see her she thinks he’s just doing it because of her brother, but really he has seen her as more than his friends little sister for a long time. She had a crush on him as a teenager, but they both think that nothing can ever happen between them. The more time they spend together the closer they become and things become 🔥🔥🔥. They agree to have a fling when away on business to get things out of their systems but all it does is show them what could be. Before Elise, Weston’s life was his business and he finds it hard to change his mindset to let someone else in. He grew up in a volatile household with an unsuccessful dad and wants to be nothing like him. Elise also had a hard childhood which left her feeling abandoned and when Weston shuts her out this breaks her heart. I really wanted to give Weston a shake so many times! Elise was VERY forgiving. I really liked how when he was with her she was his everything and I liked how he made her feel special (until he was an idiot). I liked how she showed him what love could be like and that he deserved more in his life. I read this in one day and would definitely love to see more of the other characters in the book.

Julia kicks off this new series with Elise and Weston’s story. Weston is Elise’s brothers best friend and a total workaholic. Elise is a beautiful curvy woman who has plenty of feistiness within her. This story has it all, humour, love, story building and frustrations at how serious Weston is. Their journey really started back in their childhood when Elise had a crush on Weston. This story takes you on an adventure through a good few emotions with their love shining through eventually. There were times I could have yelled at Weston, but that’s good to generate that emotion when you’re reading. The secondary characters were very good as well, can’t wait to see what Julia conjures up next. Weston did leave you frustrated at times. He does redeem himself but you’ll have to read the story to find out how. It’s another Julia must read.

I always hope that the books I read from an author will be consistently good. This is not true of Julia Wolf, I have no idea how she does it, her next book is always better and this one is no exception.We have visited Rockstars, School/College arenas all of which have been amazing but now Julia has proved she does Office Romance. Not only does it but knocks it out of the park.Weston and Elise have known each other forever. Elise crushed on him as young girl when he became firm friends with her brother. Weston wouldn't go there because she was his best friends little sister. When Elise comes home after a broken relationship, having been betrayed by her love of 4 years, Weston is more than happy to be her shoulder to cry on and when she starts working for his company a relationship seems possible at last. Has Elise found someone who excepts her as she is, curves and all.Elise is not a drama queen and just deals quietly with what live throws at her, all she wants is to be someones everything and not take a place in line after work or whatever. When it becomes apparent that Weston can't put his work aside for anyone, Elise takes it in her stride, no Drama, and walks away.Can Weston get his head out of his butt before it's too late or is his business really his life above all else.I loved this book, a curvy no nonsense girl and a Boss who is driven and needs to let go a bit more, a match made in heaven?The banter between the characters in this story is fabulous. I am hoping that the other main characters are going to get their own stories. If the next book is going to be who I think it maybe, that still leaves scope for maybe 3 more books after that.You need to grab this book I promise you won't be sorry. When you do please read the dedication at the front, it is epic.

Let me tell you... I love love love workplace romance and the last couple of books didn't meet my expectations. Well, this one finally did it. Julia Wolf literally nailed it.Elise and Weston were the perfect couple. He was one of her brother's best friends. Elise and him were really good friends, but some things happened and she left with her boyfriend to another city. Years later she found out that her boyfriend was not who she thought she was and quietly left back to her brother. There she started working in Weston's firm. From there you can guess how things went. There was definitely an attraction between them, but they tried to deny it. Thank God that the tug and pull wasn't much and they let themselves be together. And when they did...OMG...it was fun, sexy and full of smut. The sex scenes were very kinky and I looooved it, because this is one of the things that I love in my books. Of course there was a little bit of drama, but I always love my drama in the books 😍!Overall I fell in love with this book and it's characters. I do expect to hear if we will have books about Elise's brother and Lucas. I will read them with pleasure.I received an advanced reader copy and this is my voluntary review.
