Reviewing after 1 month of use and this is my first product on Amazon it truly lives up to the name Pocket Mate with small size. FM Reception: Reception is excellent. If you live in a city, you won’t even need to open the antenna. Within ~50 km range, the built-in antenna works fine. Beyond that, just connect a small wire to the antenna and you get clear reception again. Battery Backup: FM mode: 6–8 hours on a full charge Bluetooth mode: around 5 hours Compact size, loud sound, great reception and solid battery. For outdoor(while Traveling) you can use Earphone Don’t think twice — just buy it!

Two years earlier i had used earlier version of Amkette FM radio and recepitions used to be erratic and unsatisfactory. The present latest version which I now received is far far better and supirior in quality especially in signal recepition. A worthy product for the price.

This radio is a letdown. Brand new but the battery doesn’t hold any charge. Doesn’t even turn on after charging overnight. Not recommended. Don't buy this
