I am SO HAPPY with this purchase! I was so nervous the light would make it top heavy, and it would just fall over, but the base has a great weight to it that keeps it very stable! I use it for my miniature work and the metal base also acts as a great foundation for my magnetized minis.The size it perfect for my workstation and can easily be moved out of the way when I need more room, and it offers a nice selection of brightness settings when I need to see better in my dark room. Absolutely recommend this product for you hobbyists out there!

Nice and sturdy and does the job, I use this for when I’m doing resin pieces and jewelry.Good light which is adjustable and the magnification is good as well.

I can't express enough how much I love this light. It is bright, sturdy, and highly effective. I love the attached remote that you use to adjust the light settings. It has about 10 different brightness levels and 3 different light settings. I believe it's cool, warm, and daylight. The Magnifying glass is perfect and does what's expected. Also I love thay it comes with both a desk Clamp and a base. Although the base was a little big for my desk, but the Clamp was perfect. The Clamp is tight and secure and I have no worries that it will fall off my desk. You also don't need any tools as the lamp just screws right into the base or clamp.Overall, it's a great item and if you do any crafting or anything that requires light or Magnifying this is the product for you.

First let me say this product was very well made; and had a solid, sturdy base. It didn't work for me because I wanted to paint fine details. No matter how I adjusted the lamp there was only a small area that was clear without distortion. When I tried to paint when I could see clearly, the brush wouldn't fit under the lens.

It is a great idea for the design. Unfortunately, the day I got it the clamp stripped and now I am unable to get it off my art desk. On top of that, the light swivels back and forth by itself, and I am unable to tighten the bottom. All other spots you can tighten, except the most needed. I am now forced to use the base that can with it, leaving me only half the range that I needed. The light works nicely, but I really only need one setting. I wanted it for the magnifying glass, and as I said it’s not working out. Disappointed

Would have preferred the light controls placed on the base as opposed to in the power line but overall this is a great tabletop lamp.

have tried many others that don't hold position and or plastic headache inducing / magnifier = pleasantly surprised at the price point for something decent
