Tastes great too *by on Reviewed in the United States December 22, 2025* I've been a Jarrow customer about a decade. This is a superior product! I have the MTHFR gene (confirmed via blood test), which means I cannot absorb B12 as cyanocobalamin (which is synthetic, FYI) nor folic acid. I CAN absorb methylcobalamin and methylfolate. I was getting peripheral neuropathy (I'm not diabetic), so I had my vitamin B12 levels tested via blood, and they were at the lowest end of the normal range. I ordered this item, take one per day, and I've had 50% improvement of symptoms in 1 month. My labs have not been repeated yet due to insurance issues, but this is not a placebo effect. Previously, I was tripping more and stubbing my toes more, to the point I had to take stairs one at a time while looking at the stairs and holding the railing (which didn't allow me to carry much, so lots of time wasted with multiple trips up and down) because I couldn't "feel" the ground through my shoes; yet when I stubbed my toes it hurt like heck. My life has improved so much in 1 month. Rather not I did not have any B6 because it is not metabolized so easily and is commonly overdosed on. Nice that it uses xylitol.
