This is easy to use when fitted and looks the business. It is lockable from the inside of the bathroom but it also has a groove on outside in which it can be opened in the event of an emergency. I.e children may lock them selves in, or taken ill for instance . A coin , or a screw driver would open it with ease.

Carpenter here, lock is brilliant and sturdy they give both size spindle sizes and through bolt sizes which eliminated the need to cut them down. The one down size is the hex key provided was a little to big to actually work

A very strong & sturdy lock. I was a little disappointed about the lack of instructions but it didn't take long to work out where & how to fit it. Anyone who enjoys DIY will find these easy to fit. An excellent lock for any wooden bathroom door with emergency access from the outside if ever needed.

Easy to fit. replcement for bathroom lock. No issues, sturdy product and great value for money. The lock functions really well and was super easy to install.

Simple mechanism and easy to fit. Good finish on the chrome. Great privacy lock with the facility to use a coin from the outside if there's an emergency.

I initially bought four of these dead bolts and thumb turns but found them to be of dubious quality. Having left a rather negative review the seller, Handle zone, contacted me and offered to replace them all with an updated thumb turn. This revised edition of the product is so much better. The problems with the spindle are gone, and the overall finish is much better. Two points to be aware of. First the striker plate and bolt cover are in a brushed steel finish, not polished chrome. Second, the spindle is longer and needs to be cut done by 12mm to fit a standard door. Handlezone have been brilliant in sorting out the problems I've had so thanks to them.

The quality is OK but the finish on one of the latch plates is chrome as ordered, the other is black. I ordered two sets and it’s the same on both so expect the same! Poor quality control. This was since resolved by the seller so I have modified the review to reflect.

Excellent bit of kit, those who say stiff should ensure 2 things. Firstly the holes are level, if at an angle it will bind on wood. Second give it a squirt of oil and turn a few times..
