I got the small size for my almost 8 year old son and it fits great. Has room for growth with adjustment to the chin strap and the rear twisty adjuster.BONUS: came with a bag that I can stuff all of his gear into (gloves, goggles, neck warmer)!! Didn't realize it came with that, nice surpriseNo complaints about being cold, or too hot. I like the button-secured strap for goggles.My son loves the gray color and the bomb graphic, he feels like a fighter pilot charging down the mountain!Hard to beat at forty-ish dollars.

Update 12/30/22: My son and I got a full day of riding in today. Overall he really liked the helmet. He did start to complain a little about pressure on his ears a bit towards the end of the day, about six hours in. The ear pads on this helmet do not have a recess for your ears unlike some other models. This and the fact it was fairly warm probably contributed. My older son has an Odoland helmet that does have that ear cup in the ear pads and had no issues. Overall still very happy with this helmet.I got this helmet for my 11 year old son. It fits him well and tightens up well. It is similar to their adult version but missing a few options. The helmet is built well and will do it’s job. It has a nice soft removable liner. The liner is easily removed. The ear pieces are also supposed to be removable for washing like the adult version. After trying several times to remove the ear pieces for fear I’d break the plastic tab that clips them into the helmet. The ear pieces are fairly nice though with a soft padding . The vents in this helmet are plentiful on the front, back and top. The negatives are the vents don’t close, the ear pieces are difficult to remove for washing, and the ear pads don’t have the deep cups that the adult helmet has. If this was a child size version of the adult helmet they make I would have given it five stars. Overall it is a good welll made helmet and should work well for my son until he grows out of it.

My four year old wore this helmet 3 days straight in ski class and did not complain about it once. So I know it was lightweight and comfortable. The helmet had airflow for his little head to breathe. The straps had cushion so his little delicate skin did not get irritated by them.Very happy with this purchase

The price of this helmet was great. It serves its purpose but I don't like the way it fits. It doesn't give many options for pad adjustments. Extended use makes my ears sore.

Overall, I like this helmet and feel it offers good protection and seems to carry appropriate certifications. The measurement guidance seems to be accurate, and it fits well. The helmet is easy to adjust using the standard rotating knob approach that most helmets like this use. The range is pretty wide so you can get a number of years out of it I expect. The small actually fits me as an adult male (clearly, I have a small head). There's a good bit of padding and the ear warmers cover nicely. They do muffle noises quite a bit but that's to be expected. The chin strap is easy to adjust to a good fit as well. I think this is comparable to other helmets of this type in this price range. It's a solid choice if you are looking for a comfortable helmet that has good basic features.

My daughter used this helmet for the first time at Mammoth and it did not disappoint. It is comfortable and fit my six-year-old well. It has a clip in the back to help keep ski goggles secure. There is an adjustable chinstrap to keep the helmet tight around the head as well. Highly recommended!

This helmet is really well made and high-quality. I got it my son for an upcoming snowboard trip since we did not want to use a helmet that had been worn a million times before. The fit is perfect (8 year old average size boy). It is very comfortable too since it has inside padding. It is adjustable so you can make it tighter or looser as needed (we can easily add a thin skull underneath too), and has an adjustable neck strap. The design is very cool as well (my son loved this part of course). We haven't tested it for protection, and hopefully won't ever need to, but I am confident that it won't be an issue. Highly recommend!

Arrived earlier than expected, but description said it came with goggles and it did not.
