My workshop is finally clean
When I was looking at air filtration systems and deciding which one to buy this one popped up. At first I thought it was too small for what I needed but then realized it air flow rating was for meters, not feet, like the other systems I was looking at. After realizing, that I decided to purchase it since it fit my needs well and I trust the Dewalt brand and have many, many Dewalt power tools. Installation was easy. I found the studs in my ceiling, drill some holes, screwed in the hooks and hooked the chains and filtration system up. The system is pretty light so I was able to do everything by myself. Even though I connect all my power tools to my shop vac, fine dust still gets into the air and then hours later I see that it settles on everything in my garage. When I first installed the filtration system, I turned it on high and then used my blower to blow all the fine dust back up into the air. I then let the filtration system run for several hours. The next day when I came back into the garage I noticed that the amount of dust that settled was dramatically less than previously. I knew I wasn’t going to get everything the first time but I was impressed with how much it did get. I’ve been using this system for about a month now and turn it on anytime I am doing woodworking or other dusty work in my garage. After I’m finished I set the timer on the unit to either 2 or 4 hours and then leave. After a month, I am liking how well it does with the fine dust. I see very little of it settling on things anymore. One thing I am very happy with is how quiet the unit is, even when it is on high. I barely notice it. Most of the time, if I am working in my garage/workshop I will turn it on ‘auto’ mode which usually turns it on medium for a little while and then drops to low. At low, I can barely hear it. The remote is my only complaints. I believe it is an IR remote, not an RF remote so you need to be pointing it at the side of the unit that has the buttons and lights. Even when doing that, I find that it take many button presses and multiple angles trying to get the unit to respond before it actually does. It would have been much nicer to have an RF remote that I can turn on the unit from anyplace in my garage. Overall, I am very pleased with air filtration system. I think the price is a great price and that the unit is a workhorse and does a fine job at collecting fine particles in the air and keeping them off everything.

Very Nice
This works well. It has some very nice features. The Auto mode is very nice. The other feature that is very nice is the timer. It will turn itself off after an hour or two. It is also very quite and you hardly know it's on. The exit air is pointed down at about a 45 degree angle and that works well too. It puts clean air where I am working. Both filters are included and covered with plastic. Make sure you remove the plastic from both. Installing it was easy. It comes with 4 lengths of chain with hooks. The hooks are not as easy as they might be to hook onto the unit so hook the chains to the unit before you try to hang it up. The only issue I had was that the remote did not work. It turned out it had the incorrect battery. It came with a CR2025 and the manual calls for a CR2032. The CR2025 is too thin and didn't make contact. The CR2032 worked as it should.

Exactly what I needed.
I have been battling a severe dust problem in my garage due to having our cat's litter boxes in there. While the cats were using the boxes or if the boxes were sifted or re-filled, clouds of dust could be seen in the air. That dust would ultimately make its way into the house due to having to leave the garage door open so the cats could access their boxes. There are cheaper options available, but I chose this unit due to its "auto" feature which allows the unit to remain on at its lowest speed but ramp up when it detects dust in the air, which is exactly what I've seen it do. Installation was simple and easily done by one person. The hardware supplied with the unit is of very nice quality. Two words - love it.

The best product ever for woodworkers
Great filter my husband uses this in his garage. He does a lot of woodworking and contractor work and he puts this to great use. Highly recommend.

Quiet but not very efficient.
I give it 3 stars because it is fairly quiet and it does filter the air. Why I only gave it 3 stars is because I don't feel it's powerful enough. I have a 200 sq foot shop (shed) and approx. 2000 CF. This machine struggles to clean the air in a timely manner. I expected it to be much more efficient and effective for my small shop. Not sure if I'll keep it yet, or upgrade to the Jet. I'll give it a bit longer.

Very quiet. Fresh Air in garage. Less dust.
It was easy to setup. Deciding where and direction was hardest part. Whisper quit. Filters are a little hard to get in and out. Remote needs direct line of sight, which is hassle for hanging devise. Ordering filters from outside vendor is worst part, aside from filter cost. Not sure why vendor doesn’t stock them on Amazon!!!!?!!!!

Works great!
Been using this in my basement wood shop for a while and its great. The auto feature works great for adjusting the speed depending on the amount of sawdust in the air.

BEWARE !! It is not clear in the description that this is not UK compatible it is 120v so you need a step down transformer, costing you at least £40.

The remote would not work out of the box even after removing battery tab. With a little trial and error it turned out that the printed circuit board was not supported enough. When you pushed on the button they would not contact the circuit board. No worky. I put some small pieces under circuit board to hold it up where it should be, closer to buttons. My remote now works every time. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
