ALTRAMen's Escalante 3 Road Running Shoe

I recently purchased the ALTRA Men's AL0A7R6M Escalante 3 Road Running Shoe in orange and I'm very impressed with the performance of these shoes. The shoes have a modern and stylish design with a comfortable fit.The shoe is lightweight, making it perfect for long distance runs, and the cushioning provides great support to the feet, making it comfortable for extended use. The shoe is also breathable, allowing my feet to stay cool and dry even during intense workouts. Be aware though, since they are zero-drop, your ankles might initially get a bit sore, but after a few runs this went away!One of the unique features of this shoe is the FootShape toe box, which allows the toes to relax and spread out naturally, improving balance and stability. This feature has really helped me maintain my form during runs and reduced the risk of injuries.Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase of the ALTRA Men's AL0A7R6M Escalante 3 Road Running Shoe. I highly recommend these shoes to anyone looking for a comfortable and reliable running shoe.

These are my favorite shoes. I wear them for running and just general walking. They are extremely comfortable, lightweight, and they aren't super flashy so they look normal with regular outfits. I first bought them when dealing with plantar-fasciitis, which they worked wonders for. I tried them on at a shoe store, but then bought them online because they were $30 cheaper. I'm a size 11 1/2 in Vans but a 12 in these shoes (US Male). I first had the blacks, now I have the navy blues. My old pair are still in usable condition, they are just very dirty and a little torn up because I was using them as trail runners. Very satisfied with Altra. I think their toe-room is what really sets them apart in terms of comfort. However, I would avoid their Timp Trail Runners; those are super fragile and the ankle support wasn't the greatest. I just bought their Lone Peak 8s to replace those.

The Escalante is a great speed shoe from Altra. I ordered a half size down than my usual for my running shoes. Perfect fit. Feels like nothing underfoot. Caution to those with high instep. I have to keep the laces pretty loose when running. I will be ordering a darker pair soon to use at work this summer. 10/10 for me!

This is a great shoe and is an awesome choice for a well padded zero-drop foot-shaped long-distance training shoe for pavement surfaces. However, the laces...they are very annoying to tie and untie. If they get wet, they get stiff and get really impossible to untie. Why? My two other pairs of Altra shoes have good and easy to use laces. These laces were chosen for look over function. They do look cool, but very annoying.

I have size 11.5 EEEE feet. These feel great on my feet. I will say, I had to really open up the laces and even skip some holes to open them up on top (apparently my feet also have a good deal of girth?), but once the laces were adjusted, these feel great. I have worn them on a short run/walk and out to the store to help break them in. No hot spots or rubbing whatsoever.

First time buying this brand and couldn’t be happier, its coming up on one year and it’s time for my next pair. I have walked the soles off these, from miles in Europe to neighborhood walks the shoes needed no breakin time, they are light weight roomy and offer great grip with tread pattern and after almost a year the tops still look new so the durability is better than expected.

I like the big toe box and how the heal isn’t raised. It is helping me run with good form.

I’m using these and making them work, but the redesign of these shoes from the escalante 2 is a real shame. The escalante 3 is too narrow, not deep enough ( it’s very shallow on the side with the logo) and the tongue is also too narrow and has this unnecessary padding. This shoe is so redesigned it should not really have the same name as the escalante 2. It’s kind of false advertising. But like I said I’m making it work with modifications like elastic shoelaces. But yeah they are disappointing.

Great shoes with a nice wide toe box. I have double or triple E feet. These are fantastic. Wish I could afford to buy several pairs.

Started to break down and wear out 400kms before my last two pairs of shoes.

These are the best shoes I've ever had. I had to go a half size up for fit, but I will never buy another brand of sneaker again.
