Easy to connect and works perfectly
Having just bought a KIA EV6, I really did not want the cables to be hanging about and saw this. Initially after plugging in, I got nothing, the unit powered up but nothing more, then I noticed somewhere (not in the instructions) to disconnect from the car Bluetooth. I then connected to the unit by Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, hey Hey presto, everything started working great. It pretty much starts up within a few seconds of the car starting and provides access to various apps and music (streamed or stored in the phone - although I did add the VLC app to access the music on my phone through android auto).Overall great value for what it does, no wires hanging around, it's totally out of the way near the footwell (which is where the USB socket is) and I don't have to risk the USB socket getting loose by plugging something in every time I drive. My son tried a wireless adapter unit for his apple phone in his car but there was delay in it working. There is no apparent delay with using this device.

Wireless android that works
Great bit of kit. Very small and works superb. No issues at all using a Redmi note 10 and Vauxhall Corsa. Connects instantly. Other adapters had issues with Redmi phones, cutting off and loosing connection. This one has none of these issues and just works. Half the price of the other one that didn't work.

Perfect addition to my car
This little device was super easy to setup and connects automatically when I turn on my car. Voice control is excellent and makes it simple and safer to send messages or switch apps. I drive a 2019 SEAT and maybe just a year or 2 from having this built in as standard. This certainly completes the awesome Android auto feature and especially good when you are in and out the car on short journeys, no more plugging in and out with the risk of leaving my phone in the car. The device is really small and I used a little double sided tape to tuck it away and make it look part of the car. I haven't had any connection issues or problems and it works like a dream. If I am being super picky, the little light on the front blinks and can be distracting at night. I could simply mount it deeper in the little pocket or sideways to get over this but rarely drive at night, so have left it where it is. A solid light or one not so bright would be better, but this is a very small thing compared to the speed of connection and reliability of the unit. Would definitely recommend to anyone with android auto already on their car. It doesn't add that feature, simply makes it wireless.

Unfortunately very unstable
I really wanted this to work but...I bought this device to use with my fiat 500l and two mobile phones (Pixel 6 and oneplus 7 pro). A wired connection worked great for 3 years but suddenly an update broke connection with the oneplus 7 pro and despite many months of trial and error met with failure (only a phone restart will work). So I searched for devices that could try with android wireless.I bought this device. It worked out of the box but the experience with both phones over a period of two weeks was very hit or miss working only 30 percent of the time.Given such lack of consistency I returned it.

Works flawlessly
I recently bought a car with wired Android Auto. After trying multiple cables between the USB input and my phone and none of them working, I decided to try this wireless adapter instead. I was hesitant due to the price vs a cable but I'm now very glad I went this route. The product was easy to setup - just plug into the car's USB port and pair with my phone. It then handles all the communication between the phone and the car's infotainment. It works flawlessly - my phone connects automatically when the car is turned on. I like this because it means I don't even need to take my phone out my pocket. It also means no cables sitting loose in the car. It's small enough that it's fairly unobtrusive, just sitting in the tray underneath my car's USB slot. The product also seems well made so should last a long time, especially as it's not being unplugged or moved - it can just sit there doing its job.

Worked wirelessly
Worked perfectly although just a little bit cramped with mobile in case - large phone. OK out of case.

Surprisingly easy to setup and reliable
A convenient, reliable and affordable way to add wireless Android Auto to my car - the initial setup was one-time and easy (remember to read the in-box instructions - more below) and after that my phone automatically reconnects to it when the car is powered on. Performance is good - works as well as cars with built-in wireless Android Auto, but the animation/transition can occasionally be slightly slower, though I suspect this will vary depending on the phone used (you do need a phone fast enough to support wireless Android Auto with good WiFi connectivity - I tested with a OnePlus 11).A few items to check to ensure a good experience:- Your car must have existing wired Android Auto support with USB-A or USB-C ports for plug-in. This adapter essentially replaces the cable you would use for wired Android Auto with a wireless adapter. If you don't have this, you'll need a Android-Auto ready infotainment system instead.- As mentioned, you will need a reasonably fast Android phone sufficient to support wireless Android Auto, or performance will be affected accordingly.- To setup:1. Install latest version of Android Auto on your phone.2. Connect the adapter to the Android Auto USB port on your car - on some cars this is a specific port and not necessarily every port in the cabin; check your car's instruction manual for details.3. Read the in-box instructions on how to pair the adapter with your phone. In general, you will need to turn on WiFi, Bluetooth and mobile data on your phone, then scan for the adapter and pair with it via Bluetooth. Once paired via Bluetooth, the adapter will request for access permissions (accept them) and request to setup a WiFi connection (accept this too). Once it's connected, start Android Auto on your car's infotainment system and you should be good to go.You will need a separate USB port on your car to charge your phone, or use an alternate power solution (power bank etc). Battery drain on my phone was not bad - about 10% per hour, but this will obviously be dependent on your phone's battery health.Have fun and enjoy the wire-free life!

Ease of use
This product works great in my car. I am able to use Android Auto without using a wired connection. I do have to connect with Bluetooth using my phone when it gets switched, but if I'm the only one using my car then it connects automatically. It takes up little space in my car and I can still use all the same functions as normal.

It was a breeze to install
As advertised, plug and play. I installed this on my 2020 Subaru Forester Limited with a HK infotainment system, It took several restarts to access the apps on my Samsung Android phone, but it works great. Connects automatically to whomever has started the suv as I have profiles for both of us, WYZE and TuneIn work great. Also phone with txt connect flawlessly. I used to loose my connection with a usb cable connection but not anymore. No cable no problem

CarPlay will not work and Android Auto will take 20 minutes later freez
I bought this product after reading the reviews but I am sharing my experiences, this product will not work with CarPlay reason I am saying is I tied with 7 different iPhone with different ios every time I scan I can see the device name as smart box B113 and when I connect it Bluetooth just gets connected and CarPlay is not getting connected even I tried some workaround which was mentioned online nothing works now when I tried with Android it took almost 20 minutes to connect and later my vehicle screen got freezes as if some kind of disconnection has happened then onwards it stop connecting as Android auto as well.

Great Wireless Carplay Adapter!
Starts up quickly every time and works great! The device is compact so it's easy to hide out of sight. Very convenient instead of plugging in my phone every time.
