Easy and fun!
Highly recommend this game to anyone wanting to play a deck building game. It’s so fun and easy to understand/play. I even bought the “attack of the clones” edition as well. The card quality is good and the card art is cool! Can’t beat it for the price either!

Fun game! Recommend!
Great game for two players. If you like deck building, this one is worth a play. Unique game mechanics where only certain cards can be bought by certain players. Easy to learn and a lot of fun for kids and adults alike.

A lot of deckbuilder ideas in a solid game.
This deck builder has a lot of similarities with games like Star Realms/Hero Realms in it's game play. Deck builder games are a dime a dozen right now, but it's because they are easy to play and mostly pretty quick. Quick this game is not, but challenging and fun it is. Standard deck builders start with a small deck of cheap resource cards and a couple attackers. From there as the game goes on, those resources buy better cards. Finding combinations of cards that work well together will help you succeed in the game. One player is the Rebel alliance(Red cards) and the other is the Empire(Blue cards). But, there is also a Neutral faction of cards(gray) that can be recruited and a set of planets to choose from as their strongholds. You recruit the personalities and ships in the big deck to attack your opponents bases, ships, and in this game you also can attack cards in the "Galaxy Row", the cards available to both players to recruit from. The capital ships in the big deck act as buffers/fortresses to attacking your opponent. You must take those ships out before you can attack the planet. The object of the game is to destroy three of your opponents planets/bases to win. There is also a tracker for the force that goes back and forth, giving the player with "the force on their side" advantages on some cards. This is a fun deck builder game in a sea of games with the same basic mechanics. Although it will not blow you away with any innovation, it adds enough twists of the genre to be enjoyable. The 30 min play time I cannot agree with, our games were much longer. Time might decrease a bit as we become more accustomed to the game, but the battle back and forth between experienced players will draw out the games a lot.

Great two player deck builder with a twist
If you're a fan of deck builders, this one is worth a look. It's a fast moving two player deck builder with the original trilogy theme, and the theme does come through. The hook though is that you attack the other player OR attack/remove cards that they may want to buy. You also get a bonus for removing cards and sometimes that's a good reason to do it. I'll also add that the word "attack" should be taken lightly. This isn't a "take that" type of game where you hurt your opponent's turn. You're both chipping away at each other's bases and potential cards to buy. Sometimes your attack can help them too as they'll get out a new base with a special power, or perhaps a card flip to something better that they may end up buying. Fun game. Not complicated. Small box. Good twists. A keeper.

This is another fantastic deck-building duelling game! If you're a fan of Hero Realms and Star Realms, you'll enjoy this one just as much. While the base game is excellent, expansions might be needed down the line to keep things fresh after 30+ plays. Highly recommended for deck-building enthusiasts! I should admit it is (the English version) a bit expensive though here!

played a lot of chess with my son and most of our other games are 3-4+ players. highly recommended and a heap of fun. its a bit pricy and the card's finish is cheap for a $40+ game they aren't high quality like our other decks. its as thin and cheap as one can go in my experience with cards. the box looks amazing what's underneath is a let down in finish. 2 player game with heaps of replay ability, box is well built..... cards not so much and feel very cheap

We really enjoy this game! It was quick to learn (very similar in game play to Star Realms which we also love) and the Star Wars fans appreciated the theme.

Bought this for couples night, and it was fantastic as a two-player game. We switched sides to try playing from Rebel and Empire. It was very interesting. The Empire seems to have more ships that you can lay down in front of you, while the Rebels may have more powerful characters to collect. Trying different strategies is fun, and the shopping/deck building aspect is my wife's favorite. We just need some extension packs now.
