Good quality - we wanted good sturdy sharp clippers after looking at internet for advice on clipping dogs nails for those who are not confident or inexperience. The fact that they are really sharp helped us to snip of the ends easily without fuss and minimal effort which helped us and the dog. I liked the guard which helps to stop the nails going in too far if dog were to move suddenly... it also can be moved away if its in your way and you are more confident. The file stored in the handle is a good idea but in my opinion not very effective (very small and not a good filing surface) but that's ok because the clippers are great and I don't mind getting a separate file if needed. Delivered really quickly.

So much better than our previous feeble clippers, really robust sharp and quick action, no tugging to try and cut our dog's tough claws, she is a medium to large dog and these clippers did the job without a fuss, like most dog's she does not like having her claws cut, but with a treat and some fuss, they were cut in double quick time, i'm sure this will help next time as she hardly knew about it.I am very pleased with the quality of this product and would definitely recommend it to others... Thanks from Betsy the dog, and me a less stressed owner as I was always nervous about doing her claws for fear of hurting her, so the safety guard is great. I have a pair of Golden Labradors(yellow) and they are very fit and active, however the female seems to have recently had a nail growing spurt and has required some remedial action. I purchased these as home DIY method as vets bills can get quite costly. Initially I was rather worried about doing this myself but the item comes with good instructions and an almost fail-safe design which works! Good quality product which is going to probably save me a lot of money in the long run.

Nice, basic, clippers that seem to do the job well. Good idea to have the nail file in the handle too - because this helps just take the edge off if you've cut a bit rough (user error, not due to product!).

Should have bought something like these years ago. Our old clippers were so blunt (we didn't realise) that they were crushing/cutting the claws and really stressing out our whippet/lab cross. My other half also got cold sweats doing it.These clippers are quick and efficient to use. The built in (optional) guard helps you just clip the ends and no more stress about catching the quick (unlike previous "stress inducing" clippers). The fact that they are sharp meant the dog barely noticed we were doing it and we were finished before the usually obligatory 2-man press.They are very similar to other brands and I'm sure thay all do a good job.Glad we've got them and so is the pooch.

What a complete waste of money! I am a professional groomer and was looking for nail clippers with a bigger opening. Those arrived seriously blunt. Don’t waste your money on them.

This nail clipper is very easy to use, the blades are sharp and make each cut quickly, while the handles are shaped well so you can get a good grip. The build quility is excellent and i like the fact that you can put a safety lock to keep it closed.The only Con I've found is that the enclosed nail file is quite low quality. But overall does the job its supposed to.

I have an ebt with nails like brick. He hates getting nails cut and it's cost me £300 to get them done as he has to be sedated! He is still a nightmare but these clippers are brilliant. They cut the nail with no problem - when I can catch him ! Fab product,great price
