The best semi permanent hair colour I have used yet,colour is vibrant. It took quite a bit to permiate in to the hair at first, I would recommend gently rubbing it in to the hair for an extra 5-10 minutes first. But the results fare out shine anything I've tried so far and I've tried many brands over the years.

I absolutely love this colour. Finally found one that does what it says on the tin. Shade colours my white and leaves hair really nice.

Pisitives - it doesn't stain your skin, colour is very vibrant to start with, doesn't run with heavy sweating at gym Negatives- purple has washed out to blue after 1 wash, has stained shower tray and won't come off after multiple bleach attempts , much better dyes out there

I used African violet and just letting u guys know it IS NOT PURPLE NOT ANYTHING LIKE IT SAYS it’s electric blue but the colour came out vibrant and rly nice and if your hair is darker or brown it’ll come out black but on the blonde bits of my hair it came out well and my hair feels great

I want purple hair colour and this is spot on. Others I've tried are actually grape in colour so more pink. This is a true purple (blue/red 50/50 equal ratio ) I've now used in over my grape coloured hair and gave purple highlights or lowlights? And wear gloves as it gets messy but easy to rinse off you skin. I'm extremely sensitive to smell HSP and this doesn't have any noticeable odour. Is very tolerable to me.

it was a lovely colour and was the only semi purple dye that wasn’t bright but it came out in the first wash. i think this is because it didn’t come with a special conditioner

I have medium brown hair with natural blond highlights. I ordered the african violet. I did not expect my hair to be fully purple as the picture advertised, but was hoping for some subtle hint of purple. I have never applied dye to my hair before. An experienced person applied product as per the instructions. My hair did not take up any of the dye at all. Not even my blond parts. I am really disappointed with this product and do not recommend it for medium brown or darker hair.

Color comes out just as it should.

I have been using Adore hair color for almost 6 months now. The brand produces a great product -- easy to use, easy to clean up, deep long-lasting color. I used to use Manic Panic, but I was disappointed with its longevity (or lack thereof). While my Manic Panic color would last about a week (even without washing my hair, the color would fade), my Adore color lasts about a month. The color fades as you wash your hair, but it fades to a very lovely pastel hue (my hair is bleached under the color). To extend color, try using dry shampoo to stretch out times between actual washings. Also, I ignore the directions on the bottle; I apply the color to clean DRY hair and leave it on overnight. I believe this helps with the intensity and duration of color. One note on color choice: the color chart is not very useful as many of the colors look the same. I have used Purple Rage and African Violet. Purple Rage is a bright grape-purple color (think grape Kool Aid). African Violet is blue. Not even like a royal blue, it is straight up blue. If you're looking for blue, then I would recommend it, but if you're looking for purple, this is not even remotely violet. I will try mixing the two to get more of a violet color, so we'll see how that goes.

A dark Navy/purple which smells like grapes! Be sure to dilute it with conditioner when applying on your bleached hair (it won't show up on dark natural hair)
