Looks like a rod of the same color in the 2nd picture but can't find anything** A: Not sure. I don't try to match rods and reels by color, but rather by need. **Q: What size would be the most ideal for salmon and steelhead?** A: The size 2000 would be fine; however, this reel's gear ratio is too slow for river fishing. I'd suggest the Valiant Eagle series in size 2000. The Valiant Eagle series has a much faster gear ratio; therefore, it is more suitable for river fishing in my experience. **Q: Can I switch handle sides?** A: Yes **Q: I noticed the blue one (spindrift) has a higher line capacity and is IPX5 waterproof over the green one. Ate these 2 different reels?** A: I believe they are the same reel, just different colors, both are the 3000. ## Frequently Bought Together - KastKing Spartacus II Fishing Reel - New Spinning Reel – Sealed Carbon Fiber 22LBs Max Drag - 7+1 Stainless BB for Saltwater or Freshwater – Gladiator Inspired Design – Great Features - KastKing Spartacus II Fishing Rods - IM6 Graphite Blanks Casting & Spinning Rods, 2-Piece Rods with Extra Tip Section, PTS Power Transition System, KastFlex Technology, Rubber Cork Handle - KastKing SuperPower Braided Fishing Line - Abrasion Resistant Braided Lines – Incredible Superline – Zero Stretch – Smaller Diameter – A Must-Have! --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/515254981-kastking-spartacus-ii-spinning-reel-size-2000-fishing-reel-ipx5](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/515254981-kastking-spartacus-ii-spinning-reel-size-2000-fishing-reel-ipx5) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-11-01*
