Good product, good price
As far as I can tell, this is the same as the 'name brand' ladder tool, but was significantly cheaper. It's sturdy in construction and can be used in multiple configurations to make your ladder more functional (on stairs, incline, as a stand-off from siding, etc, and as a ledge, ladder jack). I am happy with my purchase. I paid for the item, but this is a paid review.

This is a nice item
The quality is nice. Not sure on value at the $80 price range. It seems well made and heavy duty it works pretty good.

It is very stable
I appreciate its functionality. However, the weather strips’ grip peels relatively easily when using ladders with metal feet. This is my sole criticism. Apart from this, it is a reliable product. .

Great ladder leveler!
Purchased this for my company for a stairwell painting job we were doing, and it worked perfect! Great price too!

Unique use case
I was packing up my van for a trip to where I would need to use the leveler. I put the leveler in my van and realized I could probably use it to hold the golf bags that I take with me. It worked perfectly! The photo is of two golf bags but actually the trip included three golf bags and they stayed perfectly in place, piled up high. That allowed me plenty of floor space in the van for other items.

Serious Safety Risk
The media could not be loaded. I don't usually leave negative reviews, but I can't ignore a design flaw that has a big safety risk.We had read a bunch of reviews about this Ladder Tool Extension and decided to try it. We purchased it to replace a high-up light fixture bulbs on our staircase, which has wood-patterned vinyl flooring. Not to mention that we checked and followed the visual manual located on the side of the tool. So, my partner climbs this heavy-duty ladder and takes off the 16-inch glass cover. But then, about 2-3 minutes later, the tool slips on the stairs and takes down the ladder, my partner, and the glass cover with it!My partner hit his head hard against the wall, hyperextended his thumb, and got a huge bruises on his upper arm, not to mention scratches from the glass. We thought his thumb was broken, but it's still swollen even after 5 days. We're keeping a close eye on it. Luckily, the ladder didn't crash down on him. He's a tough guy, this could have been way worse. Now we need to fix a huge dent and scratches all over the drywall, made a few dent on the staircase, replace a $100 glass cover for the light fixture. After all this, we noticed that, even though the tool has an inch-wide strip of Velcro tape for grip on the sides, it just couldn't handle the weight of a heavy ladder and a person. We're not confident enough to use it on a carpeted staircase or outside on concrete or the ground. So, we're not reviewing it for those situations. We're just returning it.PLEASE, DON'T USE this tool on wood or hard vinyl stairs. Your safety's more important than anything else.My video shows that you need to position it in a specific way to prevent the tool from tipping over, and how it will slip when you place it to some weight."

Heavy and surprisingly brittle
It does its job and seems like it would help in a number of situations (I used it to compensate for some funky terrain). However, on 1st use, I dropped about a 1 foot length of 2x8 on it (from maybe 4 foot high) and it cracked off a decent size chunk of it. I would think it should be able to withstand that. It part that broke off didn't effect its use in my current situation, but I think it could in the future.

Works Perfect On The Roof
It’s strong, sturdy, and is the exact angle needed to use a ladder on the roof in order to install bird deterrent device. It can be seen from the photo that the ladder is perfectly level on the roof. This is a perfect way to be safe using a ladder on the roof.
