T079 No Chip Replacement Refillable Ink Cartridges for 1400 1430 P50 Printer Sublimation Ink Cartridges Without Chip & Ink for PX700 Printer

These broke my printer if you put these in and try to take them out they rip out the metal chip reader

I needed replacement refillable ink cartridges that I had originally bought around 2009, that have gone well past their useful life. I didn't know until I saw this listing the chips could be removed. The old ones had a little plastic case they were in, and unfortunately didn't fit into the new ones directly, but it was easy enough to take the old chips off, and put them in the new cases on these. A little bit of handy-maning is needed to do this to melt the little plastic holders into the new cases (I used a lighter to heat up a small box cutter blade, and then press against and melt the little nubs the chips sit over), but it was about a 15 minute job for me. They fit just fine and my PC reads the chips from the Epson software. Be sure you don't mix them up when transferring as each color has it's own chip.These are exactly as advertised, but like the description says, you HAVE to have the chips from either an old set, or buy them from somewhere else. Perfect purchase for me to get a fresh set of refillable cartridges!
