I ordered this fan in August of 2024, I needed something small and powerful to use out in my shop. I loved that the fan was small, moved a lot of air, didn’t take up a lot of space, and it connects to your phone via Wi-Fi. The app also shows the temp of the room, which was a nice bonus. The remote works well. About 2 weeks ago, my fan stopped working. I’ve always used the oscillator feature so that the fan moves air all around instead of just one direction. Initially I didn’t understand why it stopped, but eventually I found that when the fan would rotate all the way to the left furthest point, something inside the fan would either ground out or short out and the power would shut off. If I physically turned the fan back to the right, it would work and spin until it hit the left furthest point and then it would shut off again. I reached out to Dreo customer service for help. They asked for a short video of the issue, to try a different outlet, and to include my order info from Amazon and a pic of the serial number. I provided all of that in my response, using a different outlet showed the same problem (that’s how I figured out what was wrong). They then emailed back asking for my info so they could ship me a new one. No further questions asked. I gave them my address and they sent me a tracking number. If this is the way Dreo takes care of their customers, I will buy all of my fans through them from now on if they sell the type of fan I need. I don’t feel a lot of companies treat their customers the way I was treated by Dreo. My replacement fan arrived today, I’m very excited to put it to use and I really appreciate the experience I had with their customer support. If this is the type of fan you’re looking for, don’t hesitate to buy it!! I would buy another one in a heartbeat and I don’t regret buying this one originally.

I’m very happy with this DREO smart fan. It’s surprisingly quiet, even on higher speeds, and it moves a lot of air without being noisy. It keeps my bedroom cool and comfortable throughout the night. The smart features are easy to use, and I really like being able to control the fan remotely. The different speed settings and oscillation options make it easy to find the perfect airflow. The fan feels well-built, was easy to set up, and has exceeded my expectations. If you’re looking for a quiet, powerful, and reliable bedroom fan, I highly recommend this one.

I've owned a couple of other Dreo smart fans, so I wasn't new to the brand when I bought this one. Overall, I'm very happy with it, but there are a few things buyers should know because it's a little different from Dreo's higher-end models. Setup was outstanding. Amazon shipped it in the manufacturer's box (which arrived in perfect condition), and once I plugged it in, the Dreo app immediately detected a new device. The entire setup took about 30 seconds. What really impressed me was that my phone isn't connected to the same Wi-Fi network as my smart home devices, but the app let me choose the correct network during setup without disconnecting my phone or jumping through extra steps. It was honestly one of the easiest smart devices I've ever installed. Airflow is impressive for its size. You can definitely feel it from across the room. Dreo makes even more powerful fans, but for a tabletop circulator, this one delivers plenty of airflow. The biggest difference is the noise level. If you've owned other Dreo fans, don't expect this one to be nearly as quiet. It's only a little quieter than a traditional box fan. That could be a downside if you're buying it for a quiet office, but for me it's actually a plus. I like sleeping with white noise, and this fan gives me that box-fan sound without needing an actual box fan. This is also a more basic smart model. You can control the power, fan speed, timer, and other standard functions through the app, but you can't remotely adjust the direction of the airflow like some of Dreo's more expensive fans, and it doesn't include lighting features. That's not a complaint—it's simply a more affordable model that focuses on the essentials. One feature I really appreciate is how easy Dreo made it to maintain. The front grille is designed to be removed with a clearly marked screw, complete with arrows and cleaning instructions. I haven't needed to remove it yet, but I love that they actually designed it to be cleaned properly instead of expecting you to poke a cloth through the grille. That should make it much easier to keep the fan clean and help extend its life. Bottom line: If you're looking for the quietest fan Dreo makes or want every premium feature, this isn't the one. But if you want a powerful tabletop smart fan that's incredibly easy to set up, easy to maintain, offers great app control, and provides the kind of white noise many people actually enjoy for sleeping, I think it's an excellent value.

I bought the Dreo 511S table13 inch fan to replace an older traditional style table fan that stopped working. I chose this brand because it has decent customer reviews. I mostly run the fan on the #1 low setting at night when I sleep. The wireless app control feature is a nice function, worth the extra expense. However, I have noticed this fan is making some loud clicking noises while osculating after a few months of using it (see video). The fan pushes plenty of air for a bedroom. As for noise, this fan is slightly quitter than my older table fan, but not by much. The tilt angle is not as smooth as it should be. It would be nice if the controls on the top of the base were better labeled to be easier to understand. If you are used to a tabletop fan with a larger face and bigger fan blades, then the Dreo will seem small at first. However, the more you use it the more the feeling goes away. Also, I wish the fan just osculated and not the whole base. For cleaning this fan does come apart, but not as easy as a fan that has a metal face guard with latches. As far as overall quality only time will tell if this fan lasts as long as my older traditional tabletop fan did. Considering there are not many choices in affordable smaller table fans, this fan fits this category good. If you are looking for a fan that will cool a bedroom down during hot days or make it comfortable to sleep at night, then this fan is perfect for that. However, if you are cooling a larger room then I would look at their bigger models. The bottom line is that it is a good fan for the price but does need minor improvements. Update: after using this fan for year, the fan motor is making loud noises. The rotating oscillating feature sticks and sometimes stops working. You have to occasionally jiggle the fan to get the oscillating function to work. I have taken this fan apart and did normal cleaning procedures as well as oil the shaft bearing with fine sewing machine oil. Only to have it still making clicking and humming noise. The problem is there is not many good choices in a small table fans, which leads you to buying this fan. In the end I am not sure if I would buy this fan or any other DREO fan again. Only more time will tell how well this fan holds up to durability. Update: I contacted Dreo Customer Service and after replying to a support email with required information Dreo sent me an exact brand-new replacement fan unit with no further questions. In short Dreo Customer Service is top notch.

I absolutely love this fan. My bedroom is the entire length of the front of my house, and even with air, I still need to feel air blowing on me. I did not expect THIS much air from such a little guy! Totally worth the price, and perfect for cooler nights when you want the window open, and don’t need the ac. It’s quiet too!

On the lower settings, the fan is fairly quiet. On the higher settings, it can be a bit noisy, but not annoyingly loud. It's a nice looking fan and works as expected! It has nice features and the smart integration works well with the app. I have multiple DREO products (fan, humidifier), so it's great that I can control everything through one app. There is also a remote available, which is nice!

I have recently bought two. After setting up the 1st one with Alexa which was very easy, and placing it in the large master bedroom, I could access every function from the bed without hunting for the remote or having to get up or fumble around in the dark for the remote or the control panel on the fan base. I live in south Florida so humidity and consistently high summer temperatures are a given. This fan let's me adjust fan speed etc even in the dark. When settling into bed,I will usually set it through Alexa at a higher velocity because my western facing BR is a little stuffy then. After a few hours, as the room reaches the lower temperature as the rest of the house, I just say "Alexa turn down David's fan" without even having to move from my preferred position or having to become fully awake to set any new preference. I purchased the second fan a week later because this fan can move a huge volume of air. The second fan is set up in the open living/kitchen area and I will feel great air movement at least 40' away wherever I happen to be because this fan is so well engineered that it does its magic efficiency and very quietly. I can't imagine a better fan and I own several Vornado fans that are considered to be the best by many reviewers. Bottom line: it is rather expensive for a fan but it offers both app and Alexa connectivity plus a remote (that I never use) so i believe this is actually a very well priced appliance when all the features are considered. 6 STARS if I could.

The worst ever item that I had ordered and it turned out to be disaster. The moment I plugged the fan the coil burned out and it’s not working. It’s a complete ripoff and I would never ever urge anyone to fall in this trap. I lost almost USD 200 for this product .

Tenía un un ventilador de otra marca del doble del tamaño de este Dreo y era demasiado ruidoso para dormir. Este Dreo es el tamaño perfecto, lo tengo en mi escritorio y normalmente lo uso la velocidad 2 o 3 cuando no tengo prendido el clima (vivo en una ciudad con mucho calor y humedad) , por las noches lo uso en 1 y lo programo pra que se apague una hora después de haberme acostado. Con la actualización de la app (octubre 2023) se agregó una función de programar el apagado y encendido automáticamente a cualquier hora del día las veces que sea necesario así que programo que se encienda a la hora que mi aire acondicionado se apaga. La app es muy buena pero me gusta que también traiga control remoto y este es el que siempre uso para controlarlo. La Alexa en español no entiende siempre cuando le pido que cambie algún ajuste del Dreo pero eso es cosa más de Amazon y el idioma, prefiero mil veces usar el control remoto que además es sencillo, pequeño y bonito. Yo lo uso a una distancia de máximo 3 metros, cuando lo alejo no me encanta porque me gusta sentir el aire directo, en velocidad 4 se siente súper bien estando lejos del Dreo pero nunca me ha gustado usar la máxima potencia de ningún producto sea cual sea la marca, eso es gusto personal además de que el clima de dónde vivo es húmedo, si fuera seco seguro lo tendría más lejos sin problema. La mejor compra que he hecho en are año.

Très bon ventilateur

J’utilise ce ventilateur DREO depuis maintenant un an, et j’en suis toujours aussi satisfait. Il fonctionne parfaitement, comme au premier jour. Il est très silencieux, même la nuit, tout en offrant une excellente puissance de ventilation grâce à ses différentes vitesses. La qualité de fabrication est au rendez-vous et il inspire confiance sur la durée. Après un an d’utilisation régulière, je peux dire que c’est un achat que je ne regrette absolument pas. Je le recommande sans hésitation à tous ceux qui recherchent un ventilateur fiable, efficace et durable.
